Picture quality is great and supports next gen gaming features.. still waiting on VRR support though..to come in a later update.. Has EARC support for better sound systems with dolby atmos. Only has one hdmi 2.1 port other than the EARC port though. So if you have a sound system, Xbox series x,, and ps5, you have to choose which two get 2.1 support.

I really like this tv, not perfect but none are

There are times the tv power goes off and I have to unplug wait and plug in and times when the sound just stopped working but at times it is actually the an update for an internet app that needs to be updated

We love watching 4K movies and streaming our favorite shows nightly. It has great value for the cost.

Sony completely delivered the goods with this model and I have NO complaints. If your on the fence and debating on purchasing this model or a different brand?.....then let me help you decide. BUY THIS TV. I switched over from a long term relationship with Samsung. They no longer can compete with the specs, quality, and service Sony delivers and stands by on this 4k/120hz level. Expectations thoroughly exceeded. Only upgrade to the OLED model if anything (A90J)

There was some judder at first which was concerning. However, as expected Sony pushed an update that remedied issue. Being that it is a new TV this year I expected an update, with more to come with future improvements. The new Google interface is slick to use and it's nice not having to use up an input for a streaming device. I'm interested to see what Sony does with the cognitive chip they are hyping this year.

I was worried about the sound quality but it seems to perform pretty well. The bases are not very strong but again, this is just simply a flat panel TV. The color reproductions are not as good as the OLED panels but they’re still very good. It has all the necessary I/O to accommodate other devices like Blu-ray players and gaming consoles. I also like the fact that the remote has voice recognition. In addition, because this is a television that works with the Alexa devices, the fact that I can do things with that functionality is great for my circumstances.

Worth spending the extra, I intend on keeping this for a while. I paired ir with a LG 5.1 sound bar. High definition picture and I like the google platform which is comparable to Roku. Replaced an 11 year old Samsung plasma tv that was developing vertical lines through the screen. Had to upgrade our AT&T wi-fi speed to accommodate this 4K television. 90% of what we watch is streaming, and the experience is far superior to the old plasma tv, and with the upgraded wi-fi speed, we have almost zero buffering. Definitely on the expensive side. We stayed at a relative's beach house which was equipped with the Sony Bravia which influenced us to make the purchase and we're not disappointed.

Movies and tv streaming are great as well. Before this tv I tried the LG C1, because everyone said it was a great tv. Watching just normal tv via cable box was terrible . It had very poor picture quality. Gaming was alright but this Sony tv by far succeeds it in almost every aspect. Same with the streaming of movies and tv . Everything on the C1 was just dark and really looked kinda poor quality. This Sony tv is cheaper than the C1 and better.

Pleased with my first Sony TV

I upgraded from a recent model Vizio that has comparable specs and for me the Sony gets a much nicer picture. Sometimes the extra money is worth it. My only complaints are minor: It does not handle glare very well and I would have liked more stand configurations that the higher end models in Sony's lineup come with. Also, sound is decent but I would definitely recommend investing in a sound bar. Hoping for a VRR update in the future like Sony has been promising but I have had no issues with my PS5.

I was looking for a large screen with a clear picture and this one works perfectly. I'm not interested in the smart features (I've already got a tivo for that). I was surprised at how bad the sound quality is, but I also expected that based on how much the sales associate was pushing the sound bar. That seems to be standard these days for many TVs so I'm not taking a star off for the sound quality - but be forewarned, it's awful. Setup was quick and easy and it really just worked.

Remote easy to use. Sound quality on TV alone is great, Just the right size for my room. Very happy I went with this TV, Added bonus I got it when it was on sale. Hooked up easily to my Sony DVD/CD player and my Sony VCR (yes I still have VCR tapes :) with an adaptor. Best Buy set-up tech was great and was able to get everything hooked up even with an older receiver. He did a fantastic job getting everything put together along with making sure my Sony Turntable was able to work with the system, receiver and speakers.
