It was well worth it. The picture quality is excellent and I couldn't be more happy with the set so far. I've only had it for less than a week but This set provides the best picture short of OLED screen but very close. I would definitely recommend this set.

It is slightly bigger than the the tv that was replaced. Our existing wall mount worked with it so my husband and I (in our 60s) were able to hang it ourselves. One negative is that we have Spectrum and Sony does not support the streaming app. We have to use a Roku to watch live TV.

We are very happy with this model. One small con is that the Blue Tooth does not have the greatest reach for my Avantree wireless headset, but the Avantree base can fix that. The sound is good, but our low end Sony soundbar definitely improves it.
