We are pleased to hear that the delivery of your K-55XR8B TV went well, but we are truly sorry that you are having difficulty with the voice feature and are finding the picture brightness to be lower than expected. This certainly isn't the seamless experience we intend to deliver.

The voice you're hearing is likely the TalkBack accessibility feature, which reads on-screen information aloud. We can help you turn this off quickly:

Press the Home button on your remote.

Go to Settings.

Navigate to System.

Select Accessibility.

Find and select TalkBack.

Toggle the Enable/Use Service setting to Off.

If your TV is not bright enough, we recommend checking two key settings:

Picture Mode: If the TV is set to a power-saving mode, the brightness will be limited. Try changing the Picture Mode from "Standard" or "Cinema" to "Vivid" or "Custom."

Light Sensor: Your TV may have an Ambient Light Sensor that automatically adjusts brightness based on the room light. While this feature is great for power savings, it can make the picture seem dim during the day. Go into the picture settings and look for the Light Sensor or Ambient Light Sensor setting and turn it Off to unlock maximum brightness.
