Love this tv and it’s capabilities. Nothing too fancy, but has all of the apps and features we need. Bought the warranty because, well, we have kids!

I enjoy this television very much. The only issue I feel w worth noting is that the sound volume and clarity is a bit lacking.

We bought this TV for our guest room for our daughter's Thanksgiving visit. So it would only be used a few times a year and probably have an Apple TV or Playstation plugged in to it, whichever our kids bring during visits. The instructions for assembling the legs were incorrect and confusing. The parts were NOT in the styrofoam like the instructions stated, they were in a bag with the manuals. Once assembled it became obvious that the legs are dangerous. If the TV is moved too close to the edge of its platform, front or back, the TV could fall over. I can imagine this happening when someone reaches around the back to plug in a Playstation or something, the TV could fall off the stand. A safer option would be a flat platform, not legs. Once the TV powered on it connected to the Internet and began to install an update. The update froze and the screen stayed that way overnight. The next morning the TV was off and would not power back on. We contacted Best Buy to deliver a replacement the next day. Instead they wanted to schedule a Geek Squad visit at a future date to troubleshoot it. I told them we bought this TV for a visitor, we don't have time to wait for a Geek Squad. Best Buy would not deliver a new one unless Geek Squad troubleshot it. So 24 hours after the purchase we had a paperweight and no TV for our daughter's visit. We had them pick it up instead and give a refund. They chose to lose money.

sony is the best television so buying my sixth or seventh was a no brainer! Best Buy always had a good selection

This sony tv is quite an improvement over the previous samsung i owned. Only 2 years old and completely no good.

Well, as I do, I take my time with a purchase, especially when I need it to last, I look at build quality, so in my hunt for a 55 inch tv the sony at this price point won out.

This is the only tv we could get where we can use the Sony headphones for people that have hearing loss

At first the play store app would not work. I was able to get it working and download new apps. Great TV.
