Works great with peripheral devices like iPhone , Apple TV , PS4, beats pill ... the ones I tried so far. I'm sure it'll pair beautifully with my sony 7.2 receiver, which I haven't set up yet. Picture is perfect (as expected). Sound from the tv itself is very clear and live. It even works with beats pill and tv speakers simultaneously, it creates nice surround sound. The remote control is very well made with no gaps around the buttons, single piece face and single piece aluminum back. The screen is super thin. Every day I discover a new cool feature and I have it for a month now. I enjoy it a lot!

True black on this TV is beyond awesome. User friendly. TV sits on table surface very flush, can be great or bad depending on your setup... i.e. if your sound bar is on the same surface. TV tilts upward slightly, so the level it's placed is more crucial. It can be sluggish turning off completely when used with a universal remote or if you use your cable remote etc.

I had a lot of trouble choosing a TV this time. I was look at the LG OLED's versus the Sony 930e. Both looked great and this is from a gamer who over researched the technologies. I couldn't go with 930e due to viewing angles and not having true blacks, and the LG just didn't have the pop. Then I saw the A1E. It had LG display but with Sony tech and pop along with a unique sound system that impressed me. My only concern was input lag. I've used to it with ps4 pro on 4k hdr and my Nintendo switch with no complaints, including heavy destiny 2 play. Thus TV just does everything well and has the best upscaling and motion handling of any OLED currently. For someone who had hesitations and worries I was spending too much on this model I can honestly say my only regret would have been not buying this TV

Great 4K picture. The OLED display is worth the cost. Sony software is very effective. Only flaw is the receiver for the remote signal is bottom center of the set. This blocks signals from below when TV is standing on a cabinet.

We checked online reviews after seeing this model in the store. So intrigued by the picture quality & sound produced without a sound bar! Must have suitable wall space as it certainly takes up space!

I've only had the TV hooked up/running for a few days, but the picture on it is already addictive. This is the first "smart" TV that we've owned, and it is amazing as to how much it offers.

as usual, Sony makes quality products. Not crazy about the easel type stand, but I'll live with it. Can't say about the sound system as I have it hooked up to my sound surround system.

After spending a lot of money to upgrade our tv, we were not disappointed. Such fantastic contrast with the black color against the bright colors. Great depth perception with picture.

My new Sony A1E is stunning! The picture is amazing and draws you in like a beautiful piece of art. Very happy with my purchase and learning new things about the TV everyday.

This TV really does it all: the picture quality is superb, and its sound is so good that a sound bar isn't necessary, making for a clean installation on walls.

OLED is the best current technology for 4K televisions. Unlike other TVs, OLEDs from LG and SONY can control the brightness of each individual pixel. Other TV technologies use little LEDs either in the edges or (full array) behind the LCD screens to produce the brightness level of the picture. This means they will have less success with shadow details and contrast than OLEDs. For example, an OLED can display the bright full moon in part of the picture, but turn the pixels directly next to the moon down to zero or complete black, directly next to that bright moon. Other TVs would have to turn up the LEDs behind or in the edges of the screen, resulting in "bright" blacks, or turn the LEDs way down to show a good black level, but the moon would then also be dim. You couldn't have a bright moon and pitch black sky at the same time. This is the essence of on screen contrast, and what gives OLEDs their advantage. Sony has awesome video processing (the panel is actually made by LG) which produces a stunning picture. A firmware update added Dolby Vision support. I do wish the remote control was backlit or a different shape as at night I sometimes point the wrong end at the TV. The "smart" streaming features work quickly but the on screen menus aren't very intuitive. However, since the most important thing is picture quality, I have to give this set 5 stars.

A truly great TV--The picture is beautiful--The sound is great- The spoken word perfect--you don't need a soundbar. And the price is lower each day.

OLED is what TV is supposed to be. 4K video gaming at its best. Xbox one X and this TV rock the house!!!

I think the set is just right. Picture quality is good. I do not find the remote too user friendly for intuitive touch but I will get use to it.

Don't care for the kick stand so I put it on the wall. Xbox one x looks real nice on this tv. Only thing direct tv only has three 4k channel's .

Love the TV. Has been a little over 2 years now since ordering it. Had one issue thus far, the tv remote stopped working. I purchased the geek squad protection plan so the replacement was covered under warranty. Regarding the TV itself, easy to navigate, amazing picture quality.

This tv is awesome! The picture is great and my husband, who likes to watch sports, won't give the tv up when one of his games is on!

If you wish to feel as if you were in the action on your tv, this would be a good choice. Great picture and easy to operate.

The tv was easier to install and connect than I anticipated and worked as well in my home as it did in the show room.
