After researching a few sites and calling the store itself, I decided to take the plunge and purchase this higher priced tv. HOWEVER, I was not told the truth on the phone by the "tv expert" about this tv having a browser so for the money I paid I sent it back. The picture truly is beautiful, that is why 4 stars, so if that is all that matters to you and you don't mind spending 3k on a tv, then yes I would recommend it, that being said, there are other tv's out there with a beautiful picture for a cheaper price that have the function I needed.

Although the tv is expensive, it has the best picture I have seen. Am really enjoying it. No regrets.

The Sony 55" OLED is everything its cracked up to be. Picture is absolutely fabulous. Only issue is connectivity of the HDMI's etc. due to there position on the extended bottom portion of the back support. Also have no idea of how you would wall-mount! However, it has worked out wonderfully for my needs.

Amazing picture quality! Bought a 4K player to go with the TV and I'm still in awe 4 months later. Don't need to fork over additional $$ for a soundbar since this model comes with an acoustic screen. The price might be a bit higher than other 4K TVs, but the refresh rate & quality can't be beat!

I always loved the Sony picture. The OLED picture is fantastic! The sound system is very impressive. It is such a clean look - no frame , no branding. Nothing to detract from the great picture. I would buy again in a heartbeat.

This tv has surpassed my expectations, I was a little skeptical about buying my first tv but glad I bought this one! 10/10

Not as good as lg oleds but has that sony picture. Little dim did me but beautiful tv.

After much trial and error I decided to go for A1E, much to my own shock, I loved it. The picture is great and the tech inside from Sony is second to none! Where i looses half a star is that the build in chrome cast seems to underperform when compared to the external ones in addition, the next half the android TV OS is sub par when compared to others though... I try not to use it too much and stick with the panel and the SONY tech (like the x-1 extreme chip).

I purchased the 55-inch Sony OLED AE1 TV and, what exceptional TV imaging and responsive sound. We had an older Sony Bravia we replaced and had this OLED installed in our living room, it exploded with sound and color sharpness. You will not be disappointed.

I upgraded from a 4K Samsung TV. This picture is great the black is especially nice. The sound is amazing and superior to any television I have listened to. The sound literally comes from the screen.

The Sony OLED is hands down the best t.v. of 2017 and 2018. Vibrant colors and true blacks make it outperform the competition. The sound quality is also particularly impressive as it far exceeds any tv without a dedicated front facing speaker system.

I have been waiting on this tv since it came out. I was never a fan of the price point but the picture quality I've always loved. On the weekends I'm glued to this TV. My only con about this tv is the fact that it is an android tv.

This SONY OLED TV has an excellent picture, and the Geek Squad people who installed it did a very good job. We strongly recommend buying a universal remote; it connects to our surround-sound and our various technologies, such as our Blu-ray player.

Even regular DVD's and TV shows are brighter. Watched The Sting...had never noticed the vibrant colors of the suits Redford & Co wore. Highly recommend.

Very happy with this purchase. Picture is amazing and TV has an ultra thin profile. TV, movies and video games look and play fantastic. Installed by geek squad, very professional, looks great.

We love the clarity and brilliance of the picture. Easy to operate remote control with lots of functionality and access to streaming services. Great TV!

For now, the experience has been very positive and worth the extra bucks.

SONY makes great products. This is probably the sixth or seventh SONY TV plus a couple of Blue Ray players we have purchased. This is the best TV yet. Great picture, great sound, great extra stuff. Need a TV - see Best Buy and buy a SONY.

Waited a year before I could see and eventually purchase this TV. Exceptional colors / contrast and theatre like sound. It's expensive but worth it. You will not be disappointed
