The Sony owners book says very little about how to utilize the full capability of the television and assumes that the buyer already has this knowledge. It is difficult to access instructions for this set on their web site. I will keep trying. With other divices if a complete manual is not included it is usually available on line to be printed. The picture quality is excellent.

We did lots of research - we needed a television for a person who suffers from eye problems. She went to Best Buy and selected the TV which she could best see. This television stood out to her much more than the others. We had to travel to an alternate Best Buy to pick up the television but at that location (Fenton, Missouri), the staff was wonderful - very helpful.

Best picture around, Only down side is TV must always be kept upright, not laid flat (keep vehicle space required in mind when picking up/transporting). Wall mount is definitely a 2 person job as you cannot touch the screen and it's not heavy (~50 lbs), but rather bulky and lifting with 2 people is nearly a must to avoid touching screen.

I’m so glad I bought this! The set up and installation literally took just 15 minutes and the colors are gorgeous. My only drawback, and for me it’s minor, is sometimes you’ll have to log onto your WiFi again when you turn it on... I can’t figure out why I have to do that sometimes.

I've only purchased 5 TV's over 40 years so I'm certainly not the TV guide. My old Bravia lasted 10 years and was a good TV and a supplemental heat source. This thing is definitely a step up. Family is enjoying it and all the capabilities.

Love the picture. I do wonder if it was worth all the extra money. I could tell the difference in picture when it was next to the other TVs but can I really tell it at home? We do see more flaws in people’s faces! I’m a cheapskate! Go home and think about it and be sure that is right for you!

Most displays sold as computer monitors today are 32” diagonal inches in size or smaller. We needed a much larger one for a variety of reasons, and it had to have sufficient speed and definition to be used with graphics software. This TV does so and does it well. Colors render true to the computer it is connected to. So why only 4 and not 5 stars? During TV setup, we could not get the Dolby Vision capability enabled, for whatever reason.

After reading reviews, specs, and multiple articles I finally decided on the Sony A8F, and am I thrilled with this decision! It’s actually better than I had anticipated and I continue to be amazed with its color depth, clarity, detail, and sound quality. Well done Sony!

I decided to get a slightly larger TV and this one is incredible! It is so thin and light yet the color and detail is outstanding! I'm able to view it from the far left side where my chair is with no problem (why I went larger) and it was so easy to setup.

The 55" Sony 4K OLED TV we purchased has the best picture I have ever seen. We have not watched anything in 4K yet, but the picture from Network TV is fantastic.

Sony’s OLED TV is amazing. Next to my Sony 4K it’s colors are so vivid and crisp. Believe me the Sony 4K TV great. But this OLED technology used by Sony is the best. It refines the watching television experience. Just like color did to black and white.

I returned another supposedly comparable television and on the recommendation of a sales associate, purchased this one. I'm glad for that recommendation.
It's easy to set up and easy to use. The picture quality is superb. Well recommended.

When the professional reviewers all seem to comment that the TV looks great in a dark room, and that OLED screens aren’t as bright as their cousins, I should have found a way to test the brightness that I need in our very bright lakeview home. I have a Sony 930E that seems MUCH more suited; and an 800E that I believe is also more suited to the room. After sundown, the TV is great.
The audio of the A8F is better than the front-firing 930E and the down-firing 800E - Crisp highs, and noticeable (unlike the 800E) lows.
