After many dead ends, I finally spoke to Sony who walked me through the steps for an update.After that and a restart, all started working.

Dissapointed

Set up was easy. The remote didn’t seem to be working properly but not a deal breaker as I have a Logitech universal remote. Work fine then boom there was no picture only sound. Got the protection plan thru Best Buy. Now n the process of dealing with that. Will update later on outcome.

The sound quality of the TV depends on the original video provided by the video content provider and your connection bandwidth. So for example for streaming apps, a network with a fast and stable line speed is necessary. You may also adjust the sound settings of the TV depending in your preference. You can also display [Sound adjustments] by pressing the (Quick Settings) button while watching TV, then selecting [Sound settings].

Power reset the TV, simply unplug the unit and wait 1-2 minutes then plug the device back in and power on. We also recommend updating the software of your TV. A firmware update improves the functionality and features of your device. It can provide fixes to any performance issues that may occur.

Google TV platform horrendous

Great picture and sound but the Google Tv platform is horrendous, very glitchy, and unreliable. Remember I bought two of these exact models but different screen sizes and Google TV platform is just as bad on the other one I bought. Had to purchase two Roku streaming devices to connect to them in order to watch my apps.

Didn't even last a year

Glitches since purchased, updates took forever and now just won't turn on. Did not interface with other google tvs to match up picking up shows where watching. Will stick to LG

Tried all fixes with Sony support. They’re sending a replacement because of course it happens right outside of Best Buy’s return policy. Hopefully the replacement won’t have this issue because it worked great until this happened.
