Dont buy open box

Sony tvs are not as good as they used to be

Never again buying another sony tv. As far geek squad takes too long to get things fixed.

Worst tv ive had.

For your first issue, please go to Settings > System > Ambiet mode > Google photos and follow the instructions to make sure this feature is properly set up. For the Prime app issue, hover over the Prime Video app, and press and hold the select button. Then choose “view details”. Please select to update if available and try the app again or hit uninstall and then reinstall the app. This should fix the problem. Also, please make sure that the firmware version of the TV and the Prime app is updated. For additional troubleshooting steps, please refer to this link:

It will randomly sign out of them, not open them, close randomly and lose internet connection. Of course this happened after the return window has closed. We have only had the TV for less than 3 months and I would return it if I could.

We're sorry to learn the TV broadcast/apps screen is displayed when the TV is turned on and you're experiencing no picture or the TV screen is completely black. The Power on behavior settings maybe set to Last used input or TV broadcast channel. If you change the following setting, you can change the screen that is displayed when the TV is turned on to the Home screen or TV broadcast channel/external input such as HDMI that you were watching before turning off the TV.
Press the (Quick Settings) button on the remote control → Select System → Select Power & Energy → Select Power on behavior → Select Google TV home screen (Home screen) or Last used input (Last input).
If there is no picture or the TV screen is completely black, check if the picture is displayed on the TV screen after completing each step.
1. Make sure the correct input is selected.
2. Check the cable between the connected device and TV to make sure it is securely connected to both products.
3. Make sure your devices have the latest firmware or software updates.
4. If the issue still occurs after trying all the steps above, perform a power reset of your TV.
To restart the TV, press and hold the POWER button on the supplied remote until Power off appears on the screen.

Try to power reset the TV, simply unplug the unit and wait 1-2 minutes then plug the device back in and power on. If the user interface is still slow, update the software of your TV.
