The images, colors and video performance are amazing. The 55 in TV size, sound and overall volume are appropriate for a medium size family room. Would’ve like to have more HDMI ports, but now-a-days you can buy expansion ports if you have too many devices to connect. I don’t have much experience with Google TV, but it looks like a great feature to have as an OS. Sony TV’s have always been reliable and I’m looking forward to enjoying this TV for many years to come.

Not too dark and not too light. The Geek Squad was wonderful. They set up my TV and took my old one away! Very nice and professional too!

After many hours of looking and research, we were settled on the Sony X Series. We ended up going to the Elk Grove location and was welcomed by the Sony Rep named Elizabeth (SUPER NICE AND KNOWLEDGEABLE.) She went over every detail of each type of the X Series and helped us choose this tv. Unfortunately, they didnt have any more in that store, but Elizabeth went out of her way to call the store closer to our home so we could go and pick it up. The best buy employee at the Stockton Store was super helpful (considering it was Black Friday) and got us our new tv! After taking it home and messing with it, Elizabeth the Sony Rep recommended us the best tv we have ever had and we love the quality and definition this tv has. Highly recommend!

The other two were from a different manufacturer. The funny thing is that the sales rep suggested this Sony the first time I came into the store. After the first two failed attempts I finally gave in to the sales rep and took his suggestion. I should have done it the first time. My dad loves this TV from the colors to the sound! So I would say if you are in the market for a TV in this price range I don't think you will go wrong with this one.

Only negatives are the remote does not have any numbers so if you are changing channels you would have to use toggle. Also you would have to purchase a right angle extension if you are hanging tv on wall since plug will stick out too much.

The remote is a little more cheap feeling then the higher end model Sony in our other room. But good TV for the price.
