    If you’re on a budget then go for it but if not then oh the extra low y and get a good tv that will last long. This tv isn’t worth it.

    TV PURCHASE AND SHIPPING ISSUES

    I ORDERED TV WITH DELIVERY AND PICK UP ON OLD TV. WELL THE FIRST DELIVERY THAT WAS SCHEDULED THEY TOLD MY DAUGHTER THEY WERE ON THEIR WAY AND 1PM AND AT 8PM THERE WAS STILL NO DELIVERY AND NO NOTICE FROM THE DELIVERY PEOPLE THAT THEY WOULD NOT BE DELIVERING. SECOND CHANCE AT DELIVERY THEY CAME AND CALLED MY DAUGHTER AND SAID THEY HAD BEEN THERE FOR FIFTEEN MINUTES WITH NO ANSWER FROM HER AND THEY WERE LEAVING. MY DAUGHTER WAS IN HER LIVING ROOM THE WHOLE TIME AND NEVER ONCE DID THEY NOTIFY HER. SHE CALLED THE DELIVERY PEOPLE OR THE GEEK SQUAD AND THEY ARRANGED FOR THEM TO COME BACK THAT DAY BUT WERE VERY RUDE. THEY ONLY SENT ONE PERSON AND HE COULD NOT REMOVE THE OLD TV BY HIMSELF SO I PAID TO HAVE IT REMOVED AND IT WASN'T. I REALLY THINK YOU SHOULD REVIEW YOUR DELIVERY SERVICE AND IMPROVE ON CUSTOMER SERVICE. THE TV IS GREAT EXPERIENCE NOT SO MUCH.

    I wish I would’ve known That Sony products don’t connect with Apple products. I should’ve went ahead and got the Samsung. If you use Apple products, don’t get a Sony TV. I’m sure it works great with Android products.

    The install directions were lousy. Now I need to hire Geek Squad to come and install. One computer accepts the signal....the other does not ? Best Buy Customer Service is the worst ever.

    Because of Sony's rules they have to keep ordering parts. The first part didn't fix the problem, neither did the second, now a third part is on order. I have to wait at least two weeks in between each technician visit for the new part to arrive and to get on the schedule. It will be 46 days without a television in the living room if the third part works. I don't really know how long it will be before it's fixed. I will never purchase another Sony TV.

    This was touted as a great tv by the Best Buy sales clerk, who had a Sony rep listening to him talk to me, and given the reputation I know about Sony cameras and video, I believed him. I couldn't be more disappointed. Picture is just ok and the sound works intermittently. The box was destroyed removing the tv from it, so I can't even take it back even though I've only had it a week. Think twice before buying, it is the worst tv I have ever bought.

    Channel Guide stopped working

    Sony relies on 3rd party "Gracenote" for updating the Channel Guide information. When FCC mandate an update for some OTA stations, the Channel Guide has "No program information" After days of problem, Sony tech support says it is out of their hands and no info on if or when problem will be resoved, * less than 3 months after I bought TV from Best Buy, and it wont work right.*

    We just purchased this TV 20 days ago and used only 19 days. It stops connecting to WiFi. It is so disappointment that good reputation brand Sony makes so low quality products now. Very sad.

    This is a crap tv. Got it less than 4 months ago and it stopped working. It turns off and in by itself just keeps doing it. Tried everything and it won’t work. I should of gotten the Samsung but I decided to try Sony . biggest mistake ever. Never buying Sony again.

    Frustrating experience

    All was good for 6 days from following installation...then TV stopped working. Best Buy agreed to replace, but installation will not occur until 8/18. So we’ve not had an operational set working in our den since 8/7. It’s been pretty disappointing so far.

    I was planning on getting a less expensive TV when I went in. I saw the TV I wanted. The picture was def better than the others. I spoke to one of the Best Buy employees and he steered me towards the Sony. What a HUGE difference. The pic on the Sony was much crisper and more realistic. Motion seems natural and colors, more vivid. I was lucky enough to get the Black Friday pricing even though it was slightly prior to Black Friday. Very easy setup-just make sure you follow the directions before you unpack it. Software was easy to use and connected to wifi without any issues. Very happy with the purchase, def would recommend.
