Almost frameless but great value for the price point. I found it at a nice price and was easy to set up. Very light to carry, clear screen and great sound! The Vegas lights on the screen sparkle so clearly! I would definitely recommend this TV.

This TV replaced and LG, and it's going back as well.. 1) the picture is , I dare say, nicer than the LG nanocell 8 - that is the only good thing this TV has going for it 2) Android TV is a mess and had I known it came with one, I would have never purchased it. It has no browser (and I tried downloading from store - non of them work fluently or at all) - it is a smart TV in 2019 and has no browser - that is just plain bad ! The apps and menus are excruciatingly slow, laggy and stuttery - I would try to turn volume up and down and it would go up and down, but the volume bar on the TV would reflect that 3-4 seconds after I started pressing the button. Then it would just pop up and jump up or down as many times as I pressed the button. Same goes for all menus - trying to adjust the picture - press and wait . Trying to turn apps on - press and wait. It feels like using a first generation Android tablet that you paid $48 for... It's inexcusable. 3) once again - no browser - r u kidding me. 4) you have the option to control your TV box with the remote, but I am stuck pressing up and down in the TV guide and the menu just doesn't move , then would jump 5-8 channels .. so unresponsive. The remote for the TV box works just fine in a side to side comparison... Overall, the picture is great, and if you think you will be fine with the laggy / buggy / slow / unresponsive menu, then this TV may work for you. I tried to cope with it, but couldn't and it's going back and replaced with a different brand..

I upgraded to a Samsung from an Emerson. I bought this to replace the Emerson in my room. Unlike the Samsung, Sony's operating system does NOTHING if you arent connected to cable or some other TV service. I could only play the DVD player. Plus, the PS2 would not work in color on the component setting. It showed in black and white. It was an open box so I had to buy a new remote.

    Sony’s TVs are poor quality

I’ve owned my Sony xbr65x900c for around two years after paying around $2000 for it and I unplugged it the other day and plugged it back in and now it won’t work. After plugging it back in it starts up for a minute but won’t function with any buttons then shuts off and goes into boot loop clicking on and off repeatedly. I was advised by Sony support to try a hard restart which didn’t do anything then to download the latest update to a usb drive and plug it in which I did and the tv said it already has the latest version downloaded. Then they pretty much told me to hire a tv servicer to come and repair whatever the issue is and that I’d have to cover all costs because my warranty was up after one year which according to other posts having similar issues is around $1000. This seems kind of pointless for a tv that will probably need another $1000 in around two more years. I have a Sharp tv that has been working for longer for a fraction of the cost.

Barely 2 years of use and the picture went out. Replaced with 10 year old Samsung from family room that still works great.
