    Not a very good tv, build quality very poor. Bezel fit awful, terrible design and really bad light bleed around edges.

    I should have heeded the warning of other users/reviewers when it was stated how bad the sound really is. In my case, the TV actually loses complete sound anywhere from 5-10 per hour, depending and the channel/show I am watching live or broadcast, as opposed to recorded.

    Lost audio on HDMI1 three days after we bought the TV. Fortunately, we bought the extended warranty. The Geeks had to come to the house and then replace the audio board with a refurbished one. I am not very happy about my new tv with used parts.

    Do not buy this trash tv... Wifi keeps turning off and doesn't let me turn on the toggle... Tried contacting Sony and they are no help... It started after the return date expired

    TV good - but google search not great

    TV has a good picture and ok sound. But the google button does not search properly. I asked it to find Tennis. I have the tennis channel. But instead, it just went to YouTube and listed videos. I also asked to find "criminal minds" show. Instead of showing when it is playing & what channel (it was playing exactly when I asked), it sent me to PLUTO to stream it... Separately, I do not love the remote. I miss having a button called "last" which brings you to your previous channel. Overall the TV is good for the price (I got it on sale), but not sure I would have paid full price.

    Had this TV for almost 3 years and it's been working perfectly till now, either the update we just had made this TV lag or skip at random times when watching TV shows or movies. Overall it's a great TV I would recommend

    Frustrating sometimesy sound issues

    Bought just before black friday 2020. The Sales person was raving about this TV, while everyone around me were throwing 4Ks over their shoulders and purchasing them like animals. The picture was wonderful and perfect for me and my needs. Also bought the ht-g700 sound bar that night. However, I have had the worst sound issues ever since. The first issue was with the sound cutting out all together. I had read reviews about changing the placement of the sound bar closer to the subwoofer because other devices that give off electromagnetic waves effect the connection. I have moved all devices and that seemes to have fixed the problem. NOW, my sound in crackling and cutting out on both the sound bar and the tv. The audio in general. I have looked up forums and forums about this issue, some saying its the dolby atmos and your whole system needing a reboot. We thought it was our wifi so we rebooted that too and cut every device off of wifi but it didnt work. This is something we have to play with EVERYTIME we use this TV. Every feature on this tv works beautifully and wonderfully but the sound issue is soo frustrating to my household now, I wish I wouldve returned it and looked into another set up.

    Worst Electronics Purchase We Have Ever Made!

    We bought this TV almost Four (4) years ago now and it has been nothing but trouble ever since the sixth month mark. At that time the TV started blinking, repeatedly flipping the screen image until the TV screen would go full white and then turn off. This turned out to be a known factory caused issue with the motherboard - but it took Sony another six months or so to assign a local technician with the repair of the issue. All was well for about three months and then the started randomly restarting on its own, randomly and not often but usually at the worst time (i.e. playing video games, or just at the climax/big reveal of a movie). Then almost a year ago (year 3) we had an odd event that seemed like our Router had gone on the fritz as no wired devices on our network could reach the internet, but which turned out to be a the NIC (network card) of the TV going so bad that it was blocking all wired network traffic until we disconnected the ethernet from the TV. This fix worked for three months when the wi-fi on the TV burnt out permanently and the screen started noticeably darkening in patches around the screen. Since then we have been using a Google Chromecast which lets us stream, but the unexpected power cycling has ramped up so that the TV is now unusable. This TV is a lemon, and what's worse is that SONY doesn't even CARE that it is a lemon, after the initial warranty call whenever we went through SONY we were reminded that we no longer had a warranty on the TV because we "used it already", and instead of helping us tried to upsell us to the better, newer version of this TV - No Thanks! Based on its performance and the interactions with SONY we will never purchase another TV from them again. It would have been more satisfying to shred the $800+ into the wind.
