    Picture and sound are excellent. A little quirky in that around once a week the set requires a reboot to pick up television reception. Chromecast casting from my computer a little spotty. Sony technical support is fairly useless, much better to hunt around for info on the web. It would also be nice if they had a more indepth manual (either in physical form or on-line). Nevertheless, I am very pleased with the set for the purchase price and if I had to do it again would make the same purchase.

    Exactly what I needed to replace my previous Sony that became faulty after 3 years. I only had a 2 year service warranty on the previous purchase so for this one I made certain to get the 5-year service agreement...hoping I want need to use it.     We wanted a new smart TV after 12 years of owning an excellent 46-inch Samsung. Looked at Consumer Reports and then asked the Best Buy salesperson what was a good bet. We had this mounted on our living room wall. It's a nice size; what I'd call "average" now. The picture is so clear and sharp and colors beautiful. Good price, too, for all it offers.

    The Sony TV provides excellent color, graphics, all the needed options and features to view all the types of media it can deliver. I'm very pleased with this purchase it's the right size for our living room.     Sony has always been true to its name since day one. X80J picture quality and sound is good straight out of the box yet, a bit of tweaking according to your room environment and Boom! both the picture and Sound brings the content alive as if you were watching it through a window! Our first TV was 2032 Trinitron and Sony seems to have maintained its picture quality in one form of the other. Good going Sony.
