It’s limited to 60mhz, but I knew what kind of games I wanted to play and they work very well with this. Watching movie/shows is great! Being a smart TV all of the latest apps are available for use.

This TV is just what we needed to get into the smart TV market. The only small down side, which we were told about, is windows and lamps reflect in the screen and interferes with the clarity of the picture, but we don't watch much during the day.

It has several inputs/outputs so we can use our TiVo and the picture is crystal clear. We have a sound bar too which was easy to hook up. Very satisfied with size and quality. It’s just a bit thicker than it appears in the pictures. Thought it was going to be thinner.

Great picture but the sound isn't up to par. Definitely need either a hookup to a receiver and speakers or a sound bar, Also, would appreciate it if the remote could handle Cox cable so we wouldn't have to switch back and forth. Bottom line, though...definitely happy with it and no buyer's remorse.

He is disabled and spends most of his time watching tv. He loves it. It has a great picture and can be viewed with equal clarity from anywhere in the room without loss of picture quality. Sound is adequate without a sound bar.

This TV was much better. It is easy to operate/navigate the various options. It connects well to WiFi. PC connection via HDMI was excellent and trouble free.

Sony 55" TV

I'm the one that carried and set it up for him so my comments will reflect that . Getting it out of his suv by myself wasn't easy wasn't easy due to its size . The box shows 2 people carrying it for a reason . Once inside , removing it from the box and installing the feet was easy . Lifting it onto a entertainment center would have been easier if there was a removable handle that was attached to the back . Hooking up everything was easy . Setting up channels and Wi-Fi ( it has LAN also ) was easy , it took about 5 min. . It is sensitive to multi-path messing up some stations ( it's connected to an inside antenna ) . YouTube streams better on it than on a computer . The only thing missing is a tv screen pause/freeze function . My dad is still experimenting with the picture settings to suite his preferences . Overall , my dad is happy with it and asked me if I wanted one for myself .

Great TV, Exceptional Value

What set this Sony apart for us were a few things. First off it is back panel LED lit as opposed to edge lit like some other TV’s. This prevents the vertical banding issues present on many TV’s. It also means it is extremely bright. Secondly it uses google TV as its operating system which is by far the best interface I have ever seen on a smart TV. Other brands run google TV but they are sluggish. The Sony TV runs it beautifully. It is an elegant design and very customizable. It is fantastic. With google TV comes seemless integration with YouTube, YouTube TV and voice commands as well. Additionally this ensures the largest availability of apps I have seen on a TV to date. So far this is the best TV we have ever purchased.
