Google TV is easy to use but I do have some issues with downloading that I didn't have with my ROKU. Also very disappointed that when I use the Bluetooth option with the TV (for my headphones, I'm hard of hearing) all the external speakers turn off, so no one else can watch. I was told by support that you cannot have both at once. With all the new options with TVs they have gone backward on this. Should be an easy software fix. not sure where I am going to put it now.

For your downloading issues, are you trying to download apps? If yes, we are not sure what apps you are trying to download and install. However, you may try following the steps below and see if it resolves the problem:

As part of the normal operation, the TV cannot output sound from both the headphones or Bluetooth audio device and the TV speakers at the same time.
• To output sound from both the TV speakers and an audio device: Connect your audio device to the DIGITAL AUDIO OUT port.
Note: If you connect the device to the TV headphone jack, the HDMI ports, or through Bluetooth, the TV can't output sound from both the TV speakers and the audio device at the same time.
• To output sound from both the headphones and a Soundbar: Connect your headphones to the TV headphone jack and your Soundbar to the DIGITAL AUDIO OUT port.
Note: If you connect the Soundbar to the HDMI ports or through Bluetooth, the TV can't output sound from both the headphones and the Soundbar at the same time.

However, you can use the built-in Chromecast feature to cast the content from the Spectrum TV app on your mobile device to the TV. You can download and install more applications from Google Play Store. There are several hundred apps already available with a consistent flow of new apps being released for the Google TV platform.

Not so happy with our set-up!

The sound goes to earsplitting volume, the sound bar is crackling like we are popping popcorn and using the Sony and Spectrum remote controls, we finally can enjoy our program!! We had no problem with our Vizio set, except it wore out. Do we need to have a GEEK come out to set this up again? Please advise. Mary Jo Strah
