Picture is great but overall seems like a cheap knock off brand. While unboxing the tv it feels like cheap plastic and it moves. Be careful cause it feels like it might fall in half.

The color saturation is too over bearing and when I adjust the settings it's dull. Also there is no way to deactivate the HDR. The HDR on this tv gives it a residue that distorts the picture quality. I have a Samsung which does the same thing but I can deactivate the HDR and the picture is as clear as day. I may be able to live with those two character defects but there is a third that is leading me to perhaps return this. There is no way to make the picture/film/ or broadcast to fully fit the screen with out cutting off some of the the scenery (heads). I have tried for hours. It is not on zoom but yet it appears that way and when one is steaming from a provider such as Prime or Netflix it stays on stretch and does not allow one to change. It's not good. You think Sony learned its lesson by now after losing the battle to Samsung and LG for all these years.

When viewing HDR content, you can set the video settings to HDR mode. Please refer to this link (Video signal):

If you are using an external HDMI device, make sure to use a Premium High Speed HDMI cable for optimum performance. Set [HDMI signal format] to [Enhanced format] by selecting [Settings] — [Channels & Inputs] — [External inputs] — [HDMI signal format] — the HDMI terminal you want to set.
The reason that you end up seeing black bars on some TV shows and movies is that many films and shows were, and are, made in different ratios (usually wider) than what your TV supports. You may refer to this link for more information:
