The picture was about perfect but the 3rd time it needed repaired I decided to cut my losses. I bought this Sony 2 weeks ago and it is a good buy at $700. The colors are crisp, especially when viewing 4K content. The sound is good and I like the remote. If you want to spend an additional thousand bucks, buy an OLED, but this TV is well worth the money.

Motion rate and clarity all appear to be better than lesser priced TVs and the remote is a real remote, not just one with 5 buttons and a voice prompt (although you can do voice with this one). That being said, the USB media player feature is atrocious! I plugged in my 5TB external drive with movies and TV shows over 2 hours ago and it's still trying to read it! Meanwhile, I walk in to my bedroom and plug the same drive into my cheap 4K TV and it loads almost instantly! Why the hours-long delay Sony?! One of the main reasons I chose Sony over other brands was for the media player (and its ability to play more than just MP4 files) and yet here I am sitting and staring at a spinning wheel while my files attempt to load! So if you are buying this to watch connected devices like a blu-ray player or a cable box, you'll probably be happy but if you plan on using the USB media player with a large drive, be prepared to wait HOURS! It's because of that and that alone that I would NOT recommend purchasing this TV!

Each time I use, I still comment on how awesome and fast it is. Last year I bought a 55” Samsung for about $300. And that TV was an immediate regret. But the price was very good and we hardly use that TV. It serves its purpose where’s its located. When it was time to buy a new TV for my kids playroom, I decided I would not make a purchase based on a steal price or what seemed like a cheap price. This playroom TV would get a ton of use, so wanted a great quality TV. The reviews on this TV were impressive. So I figured, I’ll pay a higher price for great TV. SONY has a great reputation for a long long time. We own a Sony TV I bought from Best Buy back in 2017 that still works great. This SONY Bravia TV wows me every time I use it. The menu is very very fast. No lag. It has a voice control feature that works perfectly. My kids love it. They can switch between HDMI inputs with their voice. They can open up Apps like YouTube and Disney+ with their voice. When inside the apps they can search for anything they want with voice control. I’m jealous they have the best TV in the house. I won’t need a new TV for awhile. But when it’s time to replace our main family TV, it will be another purchase of a Sony Bravia. It’s worth the extra money!

I wanted a remote with a numeric key pad , I didn't want to keep going back to the guide to change channels. Sony was one of the few that had a remote like that . Sony Bravia was recommended by a friend that had one , glad I listened to him.

It's in a bedroom/office that is about 14 x 12 so needed a good size TV. Decided to hang on the wall & I have to say, it's the lightest TV we've ever hung. No issues or struggling(arguing) to get it placed correctly. Picture is great & remote is easy to navigate.

The sound is very tinny no matter how much adjusting is done. I'd rate it as mediocre compared to my 12 year old Panasonic plasma TV, so I guess I'll have to add a sound bar. There was no owner's manual so set-up was very frustrating. They provide more paperwork to tell you how to get it out of the box than on how to use the TV's features. I wanted to screen mirror my iPhone to the TV and after repeated tries, I gave up. Of course, you can't call the store to get help any longer so I went to the store and they had no idea since they don't have internet access on their TVs. After hours of internet searches, I found a small posting on Sony's website that said you had to go into settings and accept Sony's Privacy Policy at least with respect to Sony Smart TV services. So, if you have any questions on the use of the TV or best settings, you better get ready to look for it online.
