When I mentioned to one of the Best Buy associates the models I was thinking about, he recommended this one and I'm very glad he did. Of similar models, the sound quality stands out. It uses the remote to calibrate your distance from the TV, and works pretty well without a sound bar compared to comparable units. I'm not a TV connoisseur, so if you're like me and just want something that's a great quality for the price, this is a good bet.

Due to seating angle I needed that. Sharp picture throughout all the way to the edges. No drop in color, shading, etc. The 80J has more features than I'll use, and I am impressed with the quality overall. I can't rate the sound as I attached a Sony sounder at the outset. I find it very easy to adjust all settings to my comfort level. I also use the Google assistant and I really like that. This is a keeper!

Awesome Bedroom TV Replacement

Same day, I also purchased a Sony 75” to replace the one in the living room. This X80J has the Google interface and I just love it. I find it easier that the Android. The picture with the X1 4K HDR Processor is awesome. Easy to switch to my cable TV box. With the bluetooth connection, I’m happily streaming music while working. Geek Squad delivered, replaced both TVs on the wall, also replaced the HDMI cables. I am Completely Satisfied with this Sony TV, and Best Buy.
