My previous one is over 20 years old and is still great. Only purchased a new one to get a Smart TV and larger screen. Old one relegated to home office.

If you want more sharpness, you can always change the settings with ease. I am giving it a 4star because of sound quality but not bad. I recommend a sound bar or your theater system if you have one, which I have a great setup. But this TV is great and as always Sony gets it right. I have one other Sony which is great.
