The TV has a beautiful bright picture and features that are easy to use. Setup was fairly easy and remote is very good.

I exchanged a Hisense U7 for this Sony X80k after a month of frustration with the hisense TV. This has been a great decision as this Sony has been nothing but a great experience. I rarely have to change any picture settings and most importantly the google interface has been extremely quick with no lag or video jutter in any apps that we use. On all of my other TVs i have had to add a roku, fire stick, or apple TV in order to get better app performance but that all changed with this TV. I had one minor issue with Wifi when i first set this TV up but a quick reset of the TV (hold down the power button on the remote) that day fixed this problem and now there has been no issues since day 1. Another minor but great thing about this TV is the edge to edge glass on 3 of the 4 sides of the screen that makes it look much more pleasing in your living room. Dont let it fool you there is still a thin bezel under there but looks much better than plastic surrounding the glass. The biggest con for this TV is the overall brightness, as we have this set to max and I still find myself wishing it was a little brighter. We have a large picture window directly in front of the TV so we knew this would be an issue before we bought it. The Hisense we returned was so bright i felt like my eyes were going to bleed so I guess there is no good middle-ground. Overall great experience and great picture with no time spent tweaking picture adjustments every time I put something on.

The tv is actually performing above the price. I know if you’re tech heavy, the hardware won’t blow you away, however there are notable differences in both audio and video when comparing between my old tv and this one. Many more details image wise, more nuanced sliders in the settings, and pretty solid gaming performance. Color has really good range, clean/clear images, and not too much loss during high motion scenes. Overall, I’d say a worthwhile the purchase

Google TV OS has been the best platform for a TV that I have used. I wish I had tried Sony sooner. Its quick and snappy and easy to navigate. The TV itself is sufficiently bright for my living room in the day, the color looks great too. Not top of the line but pretty good mid range TV. Unboxing took minutes. No screws if setting on a stand. My next TV will be Sony as well.

First-time TV buyer here, and I was initially overwhelmed by the numerous options. However, the compare feature made it easy to choose this model. The quality-to-price ratio is exceptional! I also opted for Geek Squad's mounting service from Best Buy, and their expertise was top-notch. Contrary to some reviews suggesting a soundbar is necessary, I found the built-in sound quality more than sufficient. Overall, I'm thoroughly satisfied with this purchase!

I love this TV. I bought one for my living room and needed one for my bedroom. It's got awesome features and with my Google phone I can add it to my routine, mainly so I can see the weather for the day and have the tv light come on when I wake up and can see in my room without being blinded by the actual light. It's fairly bright even on its lowest settings. Great image great sound. It's fast as well. With having multiple accounts on it, I can still purchase my shows or movies without charging the other people on it as well as them not charging me when they buy things on theirs.

This TV has to be the best quality one Ive ever owned. The User Interface is EXCELLENT - remote control is minimal and easy to use and the picture quality is amazing.

Having enjoyed a good picture and pretty good sound on a 25 year old wouldn’t quit cathode ray Sony, I finally gave up and had that great machine recycled. I bought this Sony flat boy. I have be been utterly amazed by its simplicity,stylle, picture and sound of this product. The sound is especially sharp and despite having poor upper tone hearing, I understand nearly every word without aid. The picture is superior, especially given that the set is used in very high daylight condition. It is ez to operate and program, too. If this TV lasts half as long as its predecessor, I will call it “perfect!”

I've only had the TV for 2 days, but I am very impressed!! This is my first ever Sony TV and I love it. I just received a PS5 so I wanted a TV that could support the graphics. After researching all the different Sony series, I chose this one. The PS5 with this TV is just phenomenal! The game graphics are just crazy good. The game color is on another level!! The PS5 and TV interface is awesome too. I can control my PS5 with the TV remote. The TV picture quality is perfect. When watching TV shows, the live color and dark colors really pop out as well. The set up was very easy to do yourself too. The google assistant is wonderful too, very helpful. I can't wait to try out my 4K movie on the PS5 with this Sony TV!! One minor issue that I don't mind is the sound quality. When the volume is below 45/100, it sounds smooth. When you turn the volume above 46/100, the sound gets a little muffled because it is getting louder. So really you shouldn't need your volume that high, I was just testing it out. I bought the TV for the display quality not the sound quality so I'm not mad. That is why they sell surround sound systems that I will need to get eventually. I am glad I chose this 80K series over the 75k series!

The SONY 55" is really great! Installation and setup were easy. It intigrated well with my existing sound system and receiver. Color is excellent. Speaker sound is good. I like the minimal selection of installed apps ... just what most people need and not more! The remote is not cluttered with lots of buttons and is easy to read and use.

I purchased this TV a few months ago and we love it! The picture is incredible! We downloaded the apps we use and are considering just using our apps to watch everything we do and canceling our cable and only have internet. It is user friendly and easy to manuever around once we figured it out. We also purchased a DVD/Blue Ray player and it is easy to use and have had no issues with it. We are happy with our TV and DVD/BlueRay player!

Awesome TV! I was hesitant on buying a Sony just because I have never owned one before. I have a Samsung and a LG and by far I like my Sony the best. The pros picture is great the remote and Home Screen is user friendly, I don't have any cons so far on this TV.

There's no way this is 60hz of smoothness because watching animations feels ultra butter smooth... For the price there's hardly any competition. Setting this tv up with my wife was so easy. Cannot praise this gorgeous screen enough!

It's been over a month now and we love our new Sony 55 inch tv! In store you can see the picture in different modes, and it looked great during a soccer game. That was key for us. We had purchased and returned another brand because the faces weren't clear during movement. My husband set it up quickly. Color and sound are great. No complaints at all! Would highly recommend.
