Sensational pictures when watching live action sports, outdoor adventure shows, nature programs and the news. Very good picture when watching movies. Above average but not great when watching run of the mill sitcoms and dramas but perhaps this is because they are not filmed/taped using the newest technology and therefore the television can't really do a lot of enhancing. No problems with daytime glare in a lightfilled room. Angled viewing is also not at all problematic. The sound is tremendous and for this item you definitely do not need a sound bar, imho.

In 2022 finding a mid-range tv is pretty easy but this is the one for me! I also like it for my PS5 (Sony & Sony). I live alone and can’t really speak on viewing angles and stuff… but the sound from the tv is great! It even performs some type of acoustic testing when setting up using the microphone on the remote to test the sound. Idk how well the UI is because I use an Apple TV. But this tv has 4hdmi ports which is great! Lastly, this is 2021 version the 2022 version is called X85K

Excellent Midrange TV

The screen itself is a simple backlit LCD type panel that will get decently bright, but cannot do stunning HDR like an OLED or Micro LED TV. Simply this is a great TV for places like the home gym, bedroom, or outside deck. However, it still produces quite a good picture for what you are paying for and will certainly look great if you're coming from anything older than a few years. Additionally the processor in this TV is excellent. The smart TV functionality with Android TV makes this a great media machine! Just press the voice button and speak an app or command and it will complete the request instantly. Overall this is a great midrange Sony TV, and won't disappoint anyone.

No exception when came to my next TV. Wanted to something that was a good value, not necessarily the "best", as I don't believe in paying 20% more to get a 5% increase in results. This TV is fantastic. Easy to set up, picture quality is great. Only thing I would ding them on is the sound quality. My previous Sony, that I bought 15 years ago, has much better sound than this one. But, I run the audio through my 5.1 so it doesn't make much difference for me. Just something to consider if that is a big deal for you.

I grew up with a Sony TV that is 11 years old now that is still working and in great condition. I'm confident that will also be the case for this one. I recently moved out on my own and obviously needed a screen of my own. Catching this on sale is a good deal in my opinion. The interface for the Smart features is very seamless and doesn't run slow or gets interrupted like some Smart TVs I've had issues with (Vizio). The picture quality is excellent and the sound is crisp. This gets my recommendation.
