The installer was the best! I absolutely love the Apple car play on my 2000 corvette. This is the best unit for the money! Don’t hesitate, hurry and get one

Very easy hook up. I also added aftermarket satellite radio and it’s plug and play with this radio. Controls are easy to work, and it’s pretty seamless with apple play. The only downside is that I can’t use the auto adjust on display brightness. With morning or afternoon sun there’s too much glare on the screen and I can’t read it. Most likely it’s the way my truck windows are angled. I have it on full brightness all the time. Other than that, no issues.

Fits in my 2006 Tacoma like a glove. Very good sound with the existing High Quality stock speakers. Apple CarPlay is really neat. I highly recommend this Digital Media Receiver.

I bought this for my sisters car to allow her to have apple car play. It also works great with the backup camera I bought. She loves it! There is a bit of glare on the screen at times depending on where the sun is. Other than that this was a great purchase.

Best Buy installed this unit in my 2006 F-150 double cab 4 x4. Unit sounds fantastic with the factory speakers. Having hands free phone makes the truck a joy to drive again. Bluetooth technology allows me to stream music from my phone seamlessly. The Apple Car play is awesome! The Sony receiver doubles as a Navigation unit utilizing Apple Car Play. The unit looks great in the truck. Would highly recommend this unit.

Today I'm buying my 2nd one of these. I bought one in 2022 and paired it with the kicker door speakers for an amazing setup! I sold the truck last year with the radio and speakers in it (as my wife told me to take them out and I didn't listen).. Ive regretted it ever since!! So here I am, buying this radio (and the speakers) again!! When I tell you it's awesome, that doesn't even begin to describe this unit. The knob is perfect! When I first bought it I thought it was tacky but its perfect to be able to adjust the volume with it without having to focus on the screen.. It has every feature that you want and it's SONY!! This is a real review from a real dad.. Buy this!

Blue tooth capability and back up camera both work flawlessly. Great sound quality with my speakers.

I like Apple CarPlay and this has it. Looks good in the truck and is east to use. Was pretty easy to install.

Had it for two months now and it works perfect. I was warned by the installer that it has had problems with the front usb not working which would make CarPlay unusable. That has not happened to me so far. Love CarPlay. Listening to my music and using the phones gps is mostly why I bought it. I also love the handsfree although it doesn’t sound the best but where I live you have to be hands free so it’s still better than the speaker on the phone.

This deck is perfect for my daughter. She wanted something simple that had Apple Car Play so she could see her navigation on a separate screen. She also really likes being able to plug her phone to a USB cable right in the front of the unit. The sound quality is great as well. I have always preferred Sony for car Audio head units for their great sound quality. Lots of great features as well.

I've been happy with this deck. It was easy to install and an affordable way to get apple carplay. I do get a black screen on occasion (rare), but I just reboot the deck or restart the car to rectify it.

My 2007 VW just had a radio and CD player, but this SONY made my car more like a car in 2010s or 2020s. Easy to use and inexpensive price! I just own for less than a month but cannot imagine the days without it. The only thing is that I should have bought it earlier!! Also, installing it was just a breeze. I just brought my car to Geeksquad and within an hour, they installed it.

I've installed this on 2 vehicles now and love it. Works great with apple carplay, has the tie in for a backup camera and the rear USB for adding a aftermarket tie in to the dash. Personally I like the knob adjustment for volume too as it's easier when riding than hitting a button multiple times.

Great Sony double din head unit. I originally purchased a BOSS unit and it was horrible. I’m very happy with the Sony now especially when using the knob for volume control. Have touch screen volume control is THE WORST.

Product exceeded my expectations! The free installation was icing on the cake. It was completed in only a few hours and that included a back up camera. The entire project, which included extra dash trim, custom wire connector, etc. came in at half the cost of an Audio Car Installation Shop. My second stereo from BB and I couldn't be happier.

Best decision I made for my car. It’s got everything I could want, mainly Apple Car play which is the main reason I purchased it. The build quality is excellent and Just works. Super easy to operate. Apple Car play is my favorite and most used feature. Pretty much turns my stereo into a mini iPad so I can access my maps, music and make calls. It’s worth the $300 price tag. I strongly recommend.

Great sound. Great function. Loved the stereo, but the sound would intermittently go away. Sometimes within the first 2 weeks there would be no sound but all other functions would operate normally. This seemed to happen immediately after system booted up or after ending a phone conversation over the stereo. Sometimes you could shut down the power and restart and it would work fine. Other times the vehicle would have to sit for an extended period of time for it to operate normally again. Searched and found similar complaints. I checked online for available software updates as I believe that is most likely the issue. No updates were available from Sony. This will be an amazing stereo at a great price point when this issue is resolved. I returned this stereo and purchased it’s big brother the XAV-AX5000. I have had zero issues with it. The screen is clearer and more responsive. It has an extra USB port that I don’t use. Again, if Sony works out the glitch in this stereo, it will be a great buy and a great stereo!

Only just got it but I’m digging it! Sound is quite good, controls are very easy to use and are fairly intuitive. Happy with the purchase
