Great unit for a great price. I’m very satisfied

Wanted to wait for a couple of weeks before reviewing. Really satisfied with this Sony product. Does everything listed in the manual. Still learning how to navigate but for the most part I'm glad I made this investment for my 2011 Hyundai Tucson. Let the music play on and on and on!

Originally bought it for my sons Camry. Both of us really loved it. Cant go wrong with Sony. Getting another for my car.

Was a great solution to upgrading radio/cd player with newer technology for my son’s 20-yr old first car. It has worked great!

Its a great starter headunit, very responsive and does everything you want, definitely wished i spent the extra $50 and got the xavax3200 though

Easy to put in, has Apple CarPlay but screen is a little lower resolution than I felt was worth the price

Had it installed into my daughters car. Because she got a ticket. Supposedly touching her phone in the car with it moving. Now she can plug the phone into the head unit hands free driving.

Installed it myself on my 96’ Ford. Works perfectly with the stock amp and speakers and gets really loud at max volume. No issues to report.

The installation was supposed to be free, but I was charged. Also, the only way to turn the radio off, once you've turned it on, is to turn off the car or use the remote. Otherwise, I like the unit and the install tech was very helpful.

Unit was in like new condition even as an open box purchase. Package contents were complete. Install in my 2000 Land Cruiser went well. Unit is user friendly. Built in EQ is easily accessible and adjustable. It would be nice if “canned” EQ settings for different styles of music were adjustable. The volume knob is nice. Biggest down side is that screen is a little dull, and not easily read during the day.

I got this radio, since my last one was a Jensen (even worse, my fault however, since it was only usb mirroring), and it works well enough. The Apple CarPlay works, the radio doesn't get good reception (probably my car [MR2-Spyder]). 2 major complaints. There is no way to get the backup camera on automatically, so I spent a lot of time wiring it into the backup lights, only to have to press the camera button whenever I want to use it. Kinda makes it irrelevant, plus it takes a hot minute to boot up, so by the time I get the window, I'm done backing up anyways. This brings me to my second point. This head unit is so slow. When you click a button, it takes ~5 seconds to fully switch, answering a call, trying to quickly switch back to maps because road design is confusing, etc. all becomes more (and needlessly) difficult because it is SLOW. I will recant my 2 star if these issues can be resolved. 1 star for the backup camera, and 2 stars for the slow speed.

Do not buy this unit. I had it for a month. I just moved an hour away from my job. When I drive home my husband usually calls me and I run my gps. When the gps would ding to let me know a turn is coming. It was sounds very off and then it would freeze. Nothing could fix the freeze not unplugging the phone, hanging up nothing but turning the car off and then back on. My last day having in in 3 miles it froze 4 times. I couldn’t make it to work or back without at least one episode. Then because my drive is interstate roads I would have to use my phone cause gps was no longer working and no place to pull over and restart the unit. Best Buy on the other hand was fabulous. They brough me in for a soft were update and finally after we reviewed the reviews and found this was a common issue I decide to return for a different brand

Does what its supposed to but the screen touch really sucks.

DO NOT BUY!!!!! Car play does not work when you plug in your phone the stereo says no video signal. Other times you plug your phone in and the car play is just a frozen screen. Sony will not take returns for their crappy product.
