When I first bought this it worked great for a couple months, but after that I have started having problems with it it started dying. I would get off work and go out to my truck and the radio wouldn’t turn on for like 30 mins, and its been doing this a lot lately. Also I don’t know if this is a bug on my phone or the radio, cause at the time of this review I am running a beta software but when I use Bluetooth I have problems with it, it connects good, but it won’t play on the radio or it says its paused when its playing, and it sometimea get stuck in fast forward mode. Point is when it works its great, but it doesn’t work all the time.

Although this is not the most expensive, this fit my needs just fine. I also like having a volume knob as well as touch screen. Nice color options to change display

I was looking for a CarPlay device for older 2007 car and really found it with this Sony device. Not only is it simple to use and excellent with Apple CarPlay it also has a very good tuner and and Bluetooth function that makes it perfect for utilizing any device you have. I had not used CarPlay yet after getting this Sony I am thrilled with it is as I now utilize messages, maps, phone, Pandora, Spotify, and Tune in radio when I am out of actual radio range. In short, this is an excellent device and I can’t recommend it highly enough.

I have had this head unit in my suv for about 6 months now and it has not let me down. The touch screen is responsive and the features are very unique.

This Sony stereo is really good specially when you have an Android phone if you want to plug into it, it's very simple to operate and very nice.

I had received a GC to Best Buy after my college graduation and had always wanted a CarPlay radio but couldn't afford it. I got this one purchased - took a few times to get it scheduled & installed due to personal scheduling not Best Buy, did everything they could to take care of me to help getting it installed ASAP and afterward the tech guy even spent time with me to make sure it was connected to my iPhone and answered any questions. OVERALL great experience from purchase to end of installation. happy Best Buy customer

I absolutely love this sony stereo because I can play music from my phone and it has android auto. The price for it is great when compared to other car stereos that have android auto/apple carplay. I paid 400 for it, which is a good deal because it had everything that I wanted. With android auto I can be a safer driver because I can just say "okay google" and give it commands like "play next song" or "call Joe" so I don't have to take my eyes off the road. I had my stereo installed locally instead of having Best Buy install it.

This unit has excellent sound. It really brought our jbl speakers to life! The ui is also snappy and clean. Android Auto is great!

Easy to install if you have knowledge of dash installation. Hooked a backup camera into it and love it! Apple car play is great

Added a backup camera system with this receiver and the whole package works great. Graphics could be better, but fo rthe price I'm very satisfied.

Sound quality is good and love the CarPlay features. Not crazy about the safety button everytime I turn my car on.

I drive for work and have always had a hard time trying to use my maps on my small phone screen. Not only is this unit wonderful because of the ability to display my maps on a larger screen, but it also SOUNDS infinitely better than the factory unit for my car. Its operation is simple and the employee that guided me through the install (buying the correct parts) and completed the instal was WONDERFUL. I'd trust them with any future installs in my car.

Awesome stereo. Sounds way better than my stock stereo and CarPlay is so handy on long drives.

I have had some really high end head units that don't hold a candle to this. Apple carplay is great and you can customize your backgrounds easily. Its only a 1/2 double din on the back so there is plenty of room for wiring or other electronics. If you are going to amp your speakers consider the XAV 200 and up for the higher RCA out voltage.

Despite finding it cheaper from other websites - the HU is awesome. By far the cheapest and most functional Android auto and car play head unit on the market. If you're not using these services this isn't for you - it lacks a fully functional interface otherwise. Daily Driver for Android Auto is 99% dependable. The other 1% is a consequence of the Android software and the HU's internal clock which often gets reset back to 1970??? causing AA to fail security tests.
