Purchasing TV was a breeze. However, salesman said to keep looking into paper/online for a month to see if price drops. Three weeks later, it dropped $20.00. I go to customer service, and no, "we don't do it after the return policy" (which for me, was 15 days). I even had it delivered a week AFTER the purchase, but they declined to honor that! So, if you purchase from the Best Buy in Roanoke, make sure your salesman tells you the right thing. Plus, if you have to deal with their customer service staff -- well, I feel sorry for you.

I'm so done with Sony products this tv is by far the worst tv I have ever purchased my kids off brand tv in their bedroom has a better picture then this thing. I returned it the next day

Issues with wifi and Sony was unhelpful when asked about the issue. We had to hardwire it. Sony Smart TV isnt so smart.

I recently purchased this TV and a Sony Soundbar to accompany it. The TV picture quality is amazing, the external HDMI and USB ports are easily accessible but the apps are lousy and the stand is too low. If you purchase a sound bar with this TV, the soundbar will block the TV sensor and make it very difficult to use the remote.

I have so far only used this TV with Blurays and its nothing short of stunning with it. I compared this TV with the 60 inch Samsung UN60J6200AFXZA in my own loving room . Both offer amazing pictures,but the Sony just boasts a more vibrant , brighter picture with seemingly greater detail ( I dont know how this is possible, since they are both 1080P with presumably the same number of pixels) I would have been perfectly happy with the Samsung if I hadnt tried this model and I am really glad I did. I havent tried the Sony with cable TV yet. Have not tried any smart features either.

Was looking at larger tv but couldn't pass the price or features. Glad I didn't. Great picture and sony always has great sound. They usually have a little more wattage per speaker than competition. Loaded with features as well as great selection of short cut options for Net Flix and other programs.

Wow, the picture on this thing. I returned my 60" LG 4K SUHD HDR for this. It wasn't OLED so the HDR was not all that impressive trying to do the blacks. The Sony 1080p has a sharper, cleaner picture and amazing blacks. My wife couldn't believe the difference. Plus you can get the brights super bright as well. I set the backlight at 7 out of 10. Any brighter was too bright but the blacks held solid. Unless you're willing to pay for OLED the cheaper HDRs don't compare. As for the volume mentioned in the other reviews, they're missing an offset setting that allows you to make it much louder. My daughter thought it strange that she had to set the volume at 40 to really hear it but now it's that loud at 15. I agree that the remote is not great. Too many buttons. Not very ergonomic. The LG remote was way better. :-).
Overall I'm really impressed with this TV. It costs about the same as some other 4Ks but the picture is so worth it.

With the dawn of 4k options ever growing, you may be wondering if you should even consider getting a 1080p set in 2016/17. The truth is that it will be years before 4k is fully implemented in the media ecosystem. To fully take advantage of it, you will need broadcasters to start offering 4k programming, an Ultra HD player or a streaming box that will output 4k. This means upgrading all your gear.
Back to the review. For the price you can't really beat the features offered. The picture is as good as any1080p display out there. Unless you desire a display greater than 70 inches, 4k really isn't going to benefit you so treat yourself to a great set like this.

This TV is very good for the value so far. I have had this TV for a few days and the picture is amazing. The only down side thus far is that I had to hook up a second HDMI cable in order to use the SMART TV feature apps and have the sound come through my surround sound system, otherwise the TV defaults to the TV speakers automatically and then you have to go back in the setup menu and reset the speakers again.
On a side note, the BEST BUY store I purchased at had very good customer service on my SECOND visit. When I purchased the TV online and reserved it in the store, when I came to pick up my purchase, the employee DRAGGED my TV across the entire length of the store! When I got home and set it up, the TV was cracked all over the top half of the screen. I returned it to the store, they gave me an exchange, a discount off of my purchase price, an apology for the poor service and helped me put the new TV in my truck and took out the old one. So I wanted to acknowledge that they did take care of me after my initial disappointment.
