One of the best TVs on the US market, Beautiful design, pretty black screen, by far the nicest TV. Speakers could be much better. If you have a beautiful tv that's if he speakers sounds like a rabbit, then something is wrong,right?Options - sound bar or home theater system.Android Sony TV has a lot of possibilities, although it is not perfect yet it gives you plenty of options gaming and apps. I would definitely recommend.

We did our research on line and had a couple of tv's on our list, our sales person showed us the difference between 3 that we were interested in and gave us a good evaluation of the pros and cons. We chose the Sony because we had also had past experience with Sony and the picture was great. The sound of this tv is not so good but we knew this and purchased a sound bar. This tv is easy to set up and navigate to all the apps for streaming. We are very happy with it.

This was probably our best buy... This TV has an awesome picture, good features, and is very decently priced.

As a recent college grad that lived through the days of frozen pizza and hand me down furniture, I'm glad to say that this has been my first big purchase as a now working world adult. This TV not only has a great picture and is super sleek, but it meets my requirements of how many devices I can attach to it. Worth the money? I think so. I'll never regret buying this TV.

Before purchasing this tv, I went into Best Buy to buy a different brand. I had done a lot of comparing using consumer reports & consumer reviews. The Best Buy employee was so helpful. He listened to what I had found & showed me exactly what I had come in for. He then showed me the Sony, which was less money & side by side to the one I had come in for was a much better picture. There was no pressure from the employee, & I decided to purchase the Sony. My whole family is happy with our new TV.

The best TV I've ever owned. Beautiful picture and easy to use. Only problem is the remote doesn't work great.

I purchased my first Sony Bravia XBR, 55" about 6 years ago. Power supply just failed. Hanging on to it for repair. I needed new TV NOW, so I researched and felt Sony was still my best choice. Have friends with Samsung's that ended up in repair shop or trash in 1.5-3 yrs. For the price-$2K (and unless you spend about twice as much) I believe you will find no better picture. Super sleek and lightweight, easy to set up and use. Android software is cool. 4K with Netflix. Just added a Sony Blu-Ray player (BDP-S6500) for $106. First disc-Star Wars The Force Awakens. Incredible picture-clarity-colors- flow. Wow. Also- my local Best Buy-Santee, Ca. provided excellent customer service on both purchases. I shop Amazon for everything I can-but when it comes down to it-if I can get it from my local Best Buy brick and mortar for the same price, then yes they have my business.

Have been a long term fan of Sony TVs and this 4K Smart doesn't disappoint. Set up was easy, has the apps (Netflix, Amazon Prime) I use the most. Picture is vivid, color and color depth is excellent. The thin bezel around the outside allowed me to get a significantly larger TV into a cherry wood entertainment center. Very Happy. Just went back and purchased two more smaller Sony 4K Smart TVs to upgrade some older cables TVs

Sound and color are very good. Many great features. Easy to operate and a pleasure to watch

I consider myself a technology buff. I always have to have the very latest. Back in 2015 I purchased Sony's X855C 4K I was blown away with the picture. Now with HDR, well I just had to have the latest again. So I just recently purchased Sony's new X865D not only a bigger screen size but even a greater picture then the previous model. This new HDR is amazing. I had to see it immediately. I started streaming Amazon's "Bosch" series in Ultra HD HDR. IT was just great! By the way TIP: Don't forget to set your HD input source to enhance to get the very best picture. Then just leave it on that setting. It will simply auto adjust when ever you happen to be watching a HDR content. If you happen to have the new PS4 pro give Unchartered 4 a run in this new age setup. It will blow you away. A fantastic TV. I sit no more then 10' away from this 65" Sony. Hey everyone said that's too big. No, it's just right!!! I really like everything about it.

I knew I was not getting a full array back light TV and that's okay... since I can't afford it. That being said the TVs remote and OS are horrendous, and I'm familiar with Android TV... which I love. The picture out of the box is not that great, but I guarantee that you can make it better with some calibration. The sound sucks, but that's kind of given. At this price point though, this is what you will get. The picture does not disappoint though. You get an IPS panel, great picture engine, lacks in contrast due to the edge lit and is awesome for the price.

I absolutely love this TV! It's lightweight (easy to mount on wall or pick up and move) with a great screen. You can see the screen even on from the side. The picture is crisp, clear with great color. It was easy to set up --except the Google app portion. Beware that ALL YOUR GOOGLE apps will sync with your TV and it will take a LONG time and it is the first thing it wants to do during the set up.

Very impressed with this TV. However, whether its a software issue or mechanical issue, having issues with an android dialogue box that covers the picture and won't go away. Happened several times and unplugging and restarting the TV several times is the only solution. Geek squad couldn't fix it or know what to do. So they're going to give me a new TV and hope to stops. Overall, has an amazing picture, perfect size and goes well with my sonos.

It was between this one and a Samsung SUHD. Went with this one since it was on sale for $1399. $200 cheaper then the Samsung. Unboxing it and setting up the stand was easy. Where I got stuck was when I turned it on and when it asked for my WI FI password. Had no clue on how to bring up the onscreen keyboard. The manual makes no mention of it. No quick setup guide or instructions. Tried googling it and searching online but no luck. By now it was getting a little frustrating. Had to go online to get their number but being after hours their support line was closed. But good thing they had after hours chat. So the guy walks me through the setup. Who knew that all I had to do was press the middle button on the remote. Would have been nice if they include a quick setup guide. Took about 40 minutes to complete the setup because it goes through a firmware update and a Google update. The speakers are subpar, I may need to invest on a sound bar. My 11 year old Samsung 720p sounded a million times better then this tv. Tried adjusting the sound settings but still sounds cheap. The remote will take a while to get used to. As a matter of fact you may just hate it. The buttons are flat. They are not raised so you won't know what you're pressing and will press on the incorrect button which will take you someplace else. The bottom buttons are tiny. If you have fatter fingers you'll be pressing on the wrong buttons. And forget it if you have the lights off in your room. It can get frustrating. If you know braille you'll do okay. The picture is really nice. The other reason I went with this one and not the Samsung SUHD is because the picture is more realistic and doesn't look fake. I'm on an over the air antenna and all my local channels come in HD and look great. I'm also on Netflix and Sling TV and most of their programming come in HD or 4K and picture is beautiful. The colors are nice and vibrant without looking fake. Overall I'm very happy with this tv but only wished the speakers and remote were better. This is why I'm giving it four stars. If you can get past those two things I think you'll be happy. I do like the response of the remote buttons however. They have a nice crisp feel. They don't feel spongy like some other remotes.

We actually returned this for a 55" of the same model. So far so good - great picture; ease of set up and use. Just seems to be a good overall TV so far. Also the exchange for the smaller unit at BB could not have gone more smoothly. In the long run will we purchase the 65" Sony for another room - at Best Buy, given the smooth customer service we received on both ends of the original transaction.

First, the picture is excellent! That being said, to get the 4K experience, make sure ALL components are 4K; AV receiver, HDMI cables, Blue-ray, etc. Then your Sony TV will get it's best picture. It literally took longer to get this TV out of the box than it did to get it hooked up. The on-screen setup is easy and once you have the Wi-Fi set up, any updates for the TV are downloaded. Great TV!

The picture quality is excellent, however there are a few things that annoyed me after purchase. The remote has 4 colored buttons which I had assumed were programmable - they are not. It also took a while to get used to the various menus on this TV. It was a little confusing at first. After spending some time learning the various menu buttons it became easier to navigate. This is my second smart TV and I can say that the smart functions are much more responsive than my previous Samsung TV. Overall, I'm very happy with this TV.

This is the best tv I have ever owned by far. The picture is amazing, colors are the most vibrant I've ever seen on a television, the tv itself looks magnified and the sound is super. I also had geek squad come and mount it for me. Those guys were great and helped me get it set up in the best spot for me to get the most out of it. This is a grand slam by Best Buy, Sony and the Geek Squad.

I bought this TV about 6 months ago and so far it's really great. I have some friends who have other non-"top tier" TVs and mine is by far the best

picture quality is amazing plus the 4 HDMI ports is nice considering i have all the newest consoles. The TV is also surprisingly super thin!!
