Customers praise the 65" Class LED 4K Ultra HD TV's picture quality, ease of use, and smart TV features. Many also appreciate the price and the TV's relatively light weight, making it easy to handle and mount. However, some users have reported issues with the remote control's functionality and the reliability of the television itself. A few also mentioned concerns about the operating system and sound volume.

Absolutely love this tv glad I chose this one after carefully reading 100s of reviews and going through multiple review sites. Have used to watch blurays, play ps4 games, and sports and normal tv. The blurays and ps4 games are absolutely phenomenal once you have your settings right. The sports are very good if the feed/channel is good. Setup took no time at all but the update took awhile even with my 85mb download speed and update is not needed. All in all its an amazing tv for a great price I bought at $1499.

Awesome picture and love the android operating system. My only complaint is it tends to freeze up at times, particularly with directtv rvu, but that may be a directtv issue. Love the apps and love how the remote controls so many other things like fire stick natively. Love the integration with the Sony sound bar as well.

This is my second Sony TV, and in my opinion Sony has the best picture of all the big companies. Samsung may sell more TVs, but Sony's picture is better. And at the price for this TV, it is well worth the 4K plunge. I upgraded from a 52" Sony to this, and based on the price difference decided to go 4K. Note: if you buy other devices that are 4K, like a Roku 4 or a Tivo Bolt - be sure you get new HDMI cables that meet the HDMI 2.0 standard. You can't use older HDMI cables and get a 4K picture between those devices and the TV... this is regardless of what brand of 4K TV you buy.
Back to the this TV - picture was great out of the box, which is the most important feature. I didn't have to mess with the settings which is great! I haven't fooled with the apps on this TV since I use a Roku and Tivo - no need for the "smart TV" feature. As for the sound - just like any other TV, you'll want a soundbar or speaker system since the built-in speakers are not good.
All in all I would recommend this TV, because the most important feature of a TV - the picture - is great right out of the box!

Really nice picture on nearly any video but especially nice when watching Ultra HD. Wireless internet works very well for watching streaming video. This is the first TV I've actually used the apps which work well. A recent software update even made it compatible to connect to Direct TV without a separate box. I haven't done that so I can't comment on how well it works.

I must say, I love this TV. The colors are true and the clarity is amazing. The screen produces exactly what we would expect in a TV these days. The speakers are up to par as well. They sound very good in comparison to other TVs on the market today. I also love how it runs on the ANDROID platform since I am an ex-Apple fan who converted to a SAMSUNG fan within the last few years. I went into Best Buy looking to purchase a SAMSUNG TV. I thought the screen display was great and I REALLY loved the wand remote. The remote fits in your hand so nice that it was a true selling feature for me. I still dream about it since I bought the SONY instead. The sales rep sold me on the quality of the SONY TVs screen display and ANDROID platform though. And for those two reasons, I am very happy with the SONY. However, I am disappointed in the poor design of the remote (which doesn't even light up in the dark), and I'm disappointed that it doesn't have a web browser preinstalled. I read a few reviews about this after purchasing the SONY and I realized that because it runs on ANDROID I can download a web browser app through the Google Playstore. Thank God for that because that was really bothering me. Ok, so problem solved as far as the web browser goes. But what about the long square remote? SONY should totally make a really cool wand remote like the SAMSUNG wand remote. Sleek, appealing, comfortable in-hand with a little microphone in it to speak into the remote to command the TV as well. All SONY needs to do is create a software update so that the wand remote will be able to select apps with the motion sensors of your hand movements and this product could become an extra money maker as a side product sold separately. (SONY-hurry up and get on this! ; )

Blacklight Bleed

Bought this TV (65") and was excited to set it up in my new living room. After a week of use, it developed serious light bleed (flash lighting) in all 4 corners of the TV. I called best buy and they delivered a new one and picked up the bad one. The new one lasted 3 days before doing the same thing where is was worse than the first one. Best Buy was kind enough to replace it again. This time, the 3rd one had the same problem immediately and is as bad as the 2nd unit. Its so bad that anything not in the center of the screen is barely visible. I contact Sony and they had me send pictures in. After waiting 5 days, they call me to tell me that there is nothing wrong with the picture and they will not be honoring the warranty. After arguing with the tech online, i said that i would just swap it for a Samsung and the tech said "thats your right to do so". Very poor customer service and a really bad product is what Sony has left me with. I dont recommend this product to anyone and being a loyal Sony customer for years, I feel that I am going to start recommending that people stay away from Sony products.

The picture is one of the best. Using only antenna broadcast, the signals are still so clear, the sound quality is good, set-up was a bit challenging but overall, quite happy with the purchase. The Best Buy staff helped by answering all questions honestly and providing recommendations without bias.

TV looks good on 1080P 4K is nice but hard to find. Sony has always been a good bet. Sound is a bit thin. Lots of configuration options. A couple of times I had to unplug the TV to get features to work again. Could be a common problem with all smart TV's.

Upgraded from 52 inch LED to this 65 inch 4K Ultra HD. Much better picture quality even though my cable provider doesn't provide 4 K service yet. Have purchased many other Sony products and was pleased with all of them. Very happy with this purchase!

This tv was my 2nd choice after visiting bestbuy since they didn't have the 2016 model 65 in samsung tv I wanted. This tv was at a lower price than the Samsung and since I already own a Sony tv and love the picture quality and beautiful colors I decided to get it. So far I've seen 4k movies with Amazon prime, Netflix and the rvu directv and it's amazing!!! It's really clear and beautiful. The smart feature is also a plus from YouTube videos to android games!!! There is always something to watch a or do with this tv. This tv and other tvs say up scales to 4k if not already watching a 4k content but I don't trust that on any tv becuase u can take a small I'd picture and blow it up to billboard size anytime but it will never look the same like if u had taken the picture with a super high mega pixel or 4k camera. Great tv only con is sony tells u to use some screws on the back of the TV and string it to a wall to keep it from falling over but they don't provide the screws just the holes.
