I replaced a 70-inch Sharp with this 65-inch Sony. I was a little concerned about dropping in size but this TV has such an outstanding picture that it makes up for the size difference. I would have liked to get the 75-inch, but the price difference was too much to justify.

Any off angle viewing significantly reduces black levels and even shifts color. I returned this item for an upgrade to OLED. LCD just cannot reproduced the richness and color or plasma or OLED.

The slim/minimal documentation that comes with the set or is available on the Sony website is peppered with confusing references to multiple models and features that are only available in certain countries.
