||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After eye balling it inside of my local bestbuy I decided to either go with the 930D or one of Samsung's new KS series 4k tvs. I flipped a coin and went Sony seeing as how they swayed my vote with their "from the lens to the screen" campaign. We're I believe Sony shines is their processing and build quality. But for the money... $2900...I'm not so thrilled. HDR (hdr10 no dolby vision included) looked as awesome as its supposed to. My main gripe was the blooming that comes along with these edge lit tv's...as visual drugged it irks my nerves, but for average Joe shmoe it should be a great TV. I would probably still recommend the Samsung KS series line of tvs if not for the sheer brightness than the better os. Really didn't like android tv, it's just so annoying random...play with the tv before you buy and you'll understand.

The Sync is neat to control the A/V system without too much effort but it is a bit tricky to set up. If you use White subtitles it washes out the image behind it.

The design is perfect in every way from the seamless bezel to the cable management in the rear. The new grid backlight technology is by far the best I have seen allowing it to be the brightest TV on the market. This really helps when using active 3D. I had the new LG UH7700 and the display quality doesn't even come close to this Sony. Pros: Superior colors, brightness, and black levels Cable management hides all wires Faster processor loads Android TV better Simple and sturdy stand Cons: Does NOT come with 3D glasses :( Remote is plain. Definitely not as cool as the LG magic remote. This is the best 65" TV you can buy at the moment.

It turns on all during the day and night all by itself. And who has time to call the Geek Squad? Hopefully we can get it cleared up soon.

No issues yet, online reviews give a thumb down on some of the preset applications so if you really use, look into reviews. Other than that, pricey but hands down quality all around. Sony, the best as always.

The online help is virtually useless and the prompts for various settings not very intuitive. Finally have it the way I want but not without long calls/chats with customer care.

The but part is that at times when we adjust the volume, the screen appears to buffer and/or stutter. This only happens when using apps, not when using cable. The tv remote, seems to program ok, but doesn't control the cable box on/off function after that....

Also I get a bit of ghosting in dark scenes in the corners. Speakers are atrocious. Probably the worst I've ever heard. Picture looks great sometimes.

I dropped cable and went with over the air reception which turned out to be even better than cable. So while I was on a roll I decided to god ahead with a complete upgrade and bought the Sony. It's the best I've ever had in my house. Built-in Netflix and YouTube is handy also.
