The picture quality of the Sony and Samsung are both amazing, however, the user friendly browser and compatibility with HBOGO make Samsung the tv I should have chosen.

The picture is incredible and I got it for a great deal but it keeps turning itself off randomly. I have adjusted every setting I can find and it keeps happening.

Love this new Sony our only problem we have always reset the TV when we want to watch amazon. We ditched our 70' Sharp that gave us nothing but trouble for this new state of the art Smart TV. Thank you Best Buy for showing us this

I love the tv, works great even when watching 1080p. Everything I thought it was and haven't had any issues with syncing like everyone has talked about in reviews. The tv speakers are horrible so I would recommend a sound bar.

I've had this going on four years now. The power circuit board went out last month but Sony's extended warranty on this part fixed it and it's better than ever now.

There are more expensive TV's in the market that may provide blacker blacks and better motion rate, but you will have to go $2,000 up in price. The remote is very functional and friendly, unlike some of the newer Samsung remotes

Bought this and the Sony HT-NT5 sound bar. Awesome together. I did not have any issues with a bent screen like some of the other reviews. Mounted on wall with a Sanus Full Motion mount (I believe it was the OLF18) and is great

The sales associate was very helpful. He took his time and showed me many models and price points to choose from. I am very happy with the installation as well Geek Squad was very good and went through the features with me.

Im writing this review after owning this TV for less than a week and I'm on my way back to BB tomorrow to seek my 3rd TV. Ive had the same issue on both my defective units and now shadow grey bars are appearing on my panel during scenes that should have close to pure blacks. I spent hours online and in store searching for the right TV and i thought i had the one. Sony support no help online. Hopefully my 3rd TV will be a charm. My advice is take a good hard look at your TV before your return period lapses! Pay attention. Disappointed in Sony! Quality control seems to be an issue!

This was exceptional just had a problem at home seems I needed a new socket before I could watch this tv .Actually I ended upgrading to a newer XBR55X900E and it's just perfect just need the 930E for the living room now

The staff at Best Buy did a great job working with me to ensure that I got what I wanted, I don't think that I have a bad thing to say about this TV! Great picture period...

I am awed with the picture but it doesn't always go on and we don't have enough consistency to tell what the issue is. We called Sony and they gave the standard- do a factory reboot. It may get to that.

This TV lives up to the advertised features and is great for watching my content - satellite TV, blu-rays, and streaming. The apps it comes with work well also. Unfortunately, my experience with this TV has been unavoidably tainted by the fact that it died just over nine weeks after I received and had it installed. One day, it simply refused to turn on. After checking Sony's website and following their troubleshooting steps - which were few because there isn't much to check when the TV simply won't turn on, it took me a couple of phone calls to Sony service before I could open a repair request. I was suspicious from the start because immediately after making the call, I was notified that a part was being ordered for the local technician - meaning they had a good idea of the root cause. My suspicions were proven true once the technician came with the part - the power board had failed and needed to be replaced. The other frustrating part of this is that I had paid to get the TV mounted. In order to avoid paying to get the TV taken down and put back up, I had to get friends over to help me. Sony's technician could not help because it was against policy. If not for my friends, I would've had to pay several hundred dollars for people to come take down the TV and then come back to put it back up on the wall. In the end, the repair worked and I was able to place the TV back on the mount. But the entire experience has left a sour taste in my mouth. For this purchase, I went away from Samsung (which is who made all of the other TVs in my house) because of decent reviews for this model as well as because of the Sony brand reputation. This experience will definitely color my future buying experiences and likely prejudice me against Sony TVs.

Was going to wait for the OLED tv's but decided to go with this Sony as the picture in the store looked almost as good as the OLED. Glad I didn't wait.

I was very impressed with the knowledge of the sales associate. I told him what we were looking for and he put together a tv/soundbar combo that is truly amazing.

Out of the box, great. So many features that I'm still learning. After a week the screen went crazy and out of commission. Thank you BEST BUY for straight away replacing the tv without a hassle.

This is a really good tv. The reason for the 4 stars is that we were unable to program our sony sound bar with the remote. We had to use two different remotes. Otherwise it has excellent quality

WOW! What a beautiful picture. Mounted above the fireplace and it looks really good there. I had bought the same size in an LG model and this tv blows the LG away.

Great TV super quality makes you feel like you're there. The only problem I'm facing is the installation was done in a way that now I am not able to record through my cable box programs that I am not watching

For an LED, this tv has amazing black levels and the motion is pretty impresive... i replaced my Panasonic VT for this 4K, and so far it has done an amazing job. Cant beat the sale price i got it for
