I purchase everything from Best Buy. In fact, my last 3 TVs came from them. I just purchased this TV in late January 2017. 4 months later it stopped working completely. Very disappointing for such an expensive TV. Not only are we getting the runaround from Sony but also NO help from Besy Buy. What incentive does anyone have to buy anything from Best Buy if they won't stand behind their products. Apparently there is a huge problem with this TV because I've read dozens of similar complaints. This should be RECALLED and REPLACED but we are all just sitting here with brand new TVs that don't work and zero customer service.

When we plugged up the tv, there was a ripple across the screen so we took it back to Best Buy in Durham, NC to exchange. They had none, but found us one an hour away in Burlington, NC. Durham employees were wonderful. Returned in Burlington, NC and extremely rude employees not only implied, but stated that I damaged it. I left there and purchased a larger tv, but one model older from Costco! Will NOT EVER (NEVER) shop BestBuy Burlington, NC. Associates were rude, but store management wasn't much better. Heard that the TV is GREAT, but will not purchase ANYTHING in Burlington.

The clarity on this Tv is just awful. The Tv cannot even handle fast action scenes without awful judder and in some cases extreme pixelation. I have tried turning off all processing , and i have tried turning them all the way up, in short, nothing in the settings menu can fix how awful the picture is on this set. I have recently returned this Tv for the Vizio P series which is infinitely better in every category. Also should meantion that the 3D does not work and when I checked the forums, everyone is having the same issue. Do your research and stay away from this Tv.

We purchased this TV and immediately had issues. Sony kept saying it was in line for an update and it would fix the issues....4 months passed before we get the update...I don't think it helped the issue of snow we were getting when switching over from watching Netflix. Then one day while watching it , the screen went half white & half black. They are sending a tech out to "fix" it, even though a geek squad tech said it couldn't be repaired. I won't be looking to buy another Sony...back to Samsung we go....

The 4k picture for this tv was great but the upscaling was poor. My Panasonic plasma had a much better picture quality. I returned this tv and got an Oled and I am very happy.

The brightness is uneven. There is about a foot wide stripe down the right edge of the screen that is not quite as bright as the rest of the screen, which is very annoying.

The picture quality is great but I am about to have this TV repaired for the 3rd time in 4 years. It has just quit working each time. Sony has been good to cover the repair despite the warranty being expired but had I known I was going to have this much trouble with it I never would have bought it.
I am very unimpressed with this overall and will likely never buy another Sony TV.

Loved Sony's internet features, but the picture just wasn't good enough to me for the $$. Took it back and went with LG OLED. Much happier with the picture now.

I thought I did all my homework before purchasing but I somehow missed the known issue with terrible 3d images. Sony has been aware of the problem since the tv was released a year ago and has no fix for it! There customer service was terrible and they have no plans to fix the 3d problems. If you are wanting a good looking 3d tv, don't waste your time.

This tv developed a line from screen edge to screen edge in just 2 hours. Best Buy replaced it for free. In less than 2 years it developed green vertical lines that moved around the screen with the pressing of buttons on the remote. This tv was used LIGHTLY as just a tv for company. Probably less than 200 hours on it. No more Sonys for me. I replaced it with a Samsung and am much happier.

Very upset that we bought a very expensive, top of the line TV and it "reboots"& turns off and on by itself. It started happening 2 weeks after we bought it and since we did not buy the geek squad coverage the guy at the store will not help us one bit and we need to deal with Sony. So furious with Best Buys for their "Non-handing" of this matter so shortly after our purchase, I have done nothing about it. We won't be back!

I read the reviews and listed to the Sony rep at the Best Buy Store. I upgraded from a plasma tv to this one and the quality was very poor. The viewing angles and white clouds were annoying with edge lit technology. Also, the 3D was terrible and was unwatchable.

Outstanding picture, great upscaling even old movies look like they were made yesterday. I returned a Samsung UN65JU6700 for this TV; the Sony smokes it in every way. Two minor negatives, one is the remote could be better, and there is considerable glare on the screen from lights and windows. Glare is still better than the Samsung. Make sure you contact your tv service and verify you are subscribed to receive HD programming. Direct TV requires a special box and channel subscription.

I bought this TV based on the display at the local store. Got is home, setup was easy. TV had a dead pixel in the middle of the screen. The online apps kept freezing and needing to be reset. The TV started to randomly turn itself off. Put up with it for a few weeks and took it back. Bought the 65 inch Samsung and could not be happier.

too thin, bends hdmi cable ports if you purchase thicker cable and picture is not the best .very poor construction and features.. samsung 9000 series for that year is a much better buy. Just a big piece of plastic to me !!!! not worth $500 I returned within a week! Would no recommend to ANYONE
