    Terrible 3D cross talk and Ghosting

    Just like most of the other reviewers, I had issue with the 3D function of this television. No adjustment or firmware update made any difference. I am returning this television and buying an LG. As a matter of fact I probably won't be purchasing any other Sony products in the future.

    Returned after 6 days, was not worth the money and settings have to be changed for every different channel. Also came without parts and Bestbuy charged us for those. Called Sony and they wouldn't call us back until 7 days later (after it was already returned) DON'T BUY IT

    Buy Purchase protection plan 'cause you'll need it

    60 days after I purchased it, this TV will no longer power on. You'll get no help from Best Buy without buying the Purchase Protection Plan for $280 (because that's were they make their profit). And good luck getting support from Sony. I recommend buying another brand.

NOTE: If the TV is plugged into a power strip or surge protector, remove it from the power strip or surge protector and plug it directly into the wall outlet.     Purchased this 3 weeks ago and it has to be returned due to malfunctions, best buy is great at fixing the issue but I'm disappointed that the product isn't working correctly. Unfortunately there is white clouding on the screen during black areas and dark scenes.

    Bought this tv as a open box shelf display got a great deal but only after a week of owning it, it would not turn on! Called customer service at my local store and they were more then accommodating and helped me get a new tv that same day!

    Do not buy Sony TVs, I bought this TV and it died 2 months after purchase. Sony is giving me the run around and offered me a downgraded refurbished TV. Very bad business I had Samsung and LG TVs for years and never had a problem. Shame

    Just came home from vacation my brand new Sony - 65 Class (64.5 diag) - LED - 2160p - Smart - 3D - 4K Ultra HD TV with High Dynamic Range - Black will not turn on. No power nothing the power pack has no heat nothing is working.

    The TV died after less than 5 months and will not turn on or anything. I called Sony for an update after 5 days on my case and every piece of my information they took was incorrect. Hopefully, someday, it will be fixed.

    Sony 4K XBR 930D

    My first initial purchase was the Sony 900C which was on sale for $1999.00. Now that was a very good deal, but I had the dreaded white screen bleed in two of the bottom lower corners. After doing more research I found out about HDR & decided to make the jump in upgrade & price to this beauty. I had two wait almost two & half weeks to get in because it had to be ordered, but it's been worth the wait. The picture is a stunner!! No screen bleed. Blacks are reproduced deep as well as with other colors. Do yourself a favor & tweak your settings as I have. Also I purchased a Sony blu Ray player with 3D that can upscale to 4K. All in all I'm very very happy with the upgrade & service from Best Buy. I have Directv coming today to finish my 4K upgrade with new equipment & they aren't evening charging me or asking me to sign a new contract because I've bee with them for 21 years. Now all I need is for NFL football season to get here!! Go Dallas Cowboys!!

    Google it , you will find lots of discussion for bending frame issue. thanks for bestbuy holiday season return policy; returned and exchanged (with different sony model) with no issue at all.

    Barely had 3 years and it died. Very dissatisfied with Sony bought in Dec 2016 and it’s dead! We have not had any storms it’s just dead!

    Every software update will fix 1 item, but break something else. This was a very expensive tv to have so many problems. This is the last Sony for me.

    Had dead pixels on first start up.waited two week for the tv and it's defective now I have to wait for a replacement Best Buy could make this a bit easier

    Geat TV

    Picked up a 65" over the weekend. Seems to be a really great TV. Good: Its thin. Backlight drive seems to work pretty well in certain scenes. One remote this year instead of two. Colors are amazing! Blacks are great. Not OLED black but close. Very bright. Runs android as the OS. 4k upscaling looks great. Looks great in both daytime and night watching. Bad: Comes with android 5.1.1 so hasn't yet been updated to 6.x. Noticed some blue blotches in darker screen in menus but it goes away when watching content so not a huge deal. Power brick in power cord. Did not come with a wall mount like some of the x900 series tvs did last year.

    Outstanding TV. Love the colors and even the dark scenes look great - obviously not OLED great but getting close. Lots of complaints in reviews about crooked frames/screens. Mine is perfectly straight. Had Best Buy drop off the TV but I unpacked, mounted and connected it (with my son's help). We are really enjoying our new TV and look forward to more 4K programming. By the way, take some of these reviews with a grain of salt. Too many videophiles expecting perfection - which doesn't exist. These people need to start enjoying and watching TV rather than watching their TV.

    I have tested Samsung 4K UHD player; The Martian 4K looks excellent. Video processing is very good. My main complaint it only supports HDR10; Dolby Vision support is nonexistent. Black levels 9/10. The rim 1st inch has grey tint around perimeter. Probably an edge light issue.
