Everything you’d expect from a premier brand. Good picture. Works well. Only complaint is I wish these had more memory in them for apps. Supposedly you can add a thumb drive for more, but I have never been able to get that to work.

This is the greatest TV in many years. The picture is bright and with the usual perfect color that is typical of Sony TVs. No picture setups necessary. Audio is acceptable from the rear speakers, better than most current screens, but not as good as front speakers in the past. 3 hdmi ports with audio return channel on the rear. Upscaling on older content is “superior “ to other sets. This and great picture with all the HDR formats made me buy. Mine is 65 in. Have it delivered and set up is my recommendation if you have not done this before. Size and weight too much for one person. It’s a “10+” in my book.

    Sony versus LG OLED

The main use for this TV is to watch Netflix Amazon and Hulu. Giving it a five-star for reliability and picture quality. Blacks are black and whites are white and there are many adjustable settings that can tweak it to your liking.have not hooked it up to a PC and I have not hooked it up to a gaming console. I swayed my decision for a month on a Sony versus LG and I currently have a 10-year-old Sony led which works perfectly fine. I have blooming issues with my LG monitor which is another of the reasons that I went with Sony. They have always stood by their name and produced quality products.

I had my Sony Bravia KDL-52XBR3 for last 15 years and it was still running great. I saw Sony A8H OLED 65" TV on sale at Best Buy during Christmas. I bought it to replace my 15 years old Sony LCD TV. I notice that the picture quality on OLED is much better than LCD. The new Sony A8H picture quality is top notch. It shows great details with excellent color. It is bright enough to be watched in the living room with windows. It is also able to show the true black color. I highly recommend this TV to anyone.

Tv has been great! I’ve never had a tv of this quality and I am enjoying every minute. Easy setup, easy operation. Picture quality has been awesome. We watch regular tv shows, TV movies, sports and news. I have streamed YouTube from my phone as a test. Haven’t watched Netflix or Prime yet to see movie theater quality appears on this tv. But everything I have seen so far I have no doubts it will meet my expectations. I added a Sony sound bar with the Dolby Atmos and love it. Never thought I would spend this much money for a tv but I am enjoying the heck out of it!!

I am a professional media producer and I am a Sony guy. This time though I went in to buy a Samsung because, for my home, I liked the "pushed" color of the Samsungs'. However, I came out with an A8H because the difference side by side was so dramatic that it had to be a Sony OLED. The colors are deep and the blacks are true. Having accurate blacks pulls up the level of detail that is simply stunning. I also must mention the Best Buy guys who delivered and installed it...really knew their stuff and had my complicated set-up nailed within minutes.

    Better picture than the LG

Quite simply, this TV has the best picture I have ever seen. I did a lot of research before buying our new TV. We had two Panasonic plasmas until now (we still have one in a different room), and I knew I didn’t want an LCD TV or an LED TV (which is just a variation on the LCD type). I read articles, compared specs, and watched reviews on Youtube. The consensus was that OLED is the way to go. The only question is whether to choose LG or Sony. And LG makes the panels Sony uses, so how different can they be? As it turns out, the difference is significant. The Sony processor is the reason. Look at the two next to each other and the Sony has a depth and richness that the LG lacks. Also, while both have perfect black levels, the Sony somehow handles color coming out of the black better. The LG’s picture is excellent, and if you aren’t comparing it to the Sony, you will be happy. But once you see the difference, you will know it’s there. Worth noting is that the Sony’s audio, which comes out of the screen itself, sounds good — much better than the LG. But I listened to it only until I could get my Sonos Arc mounted, so that wasn’t a factor in my purchase. Finally, the Sony build quality is high. All OLEDs are extremely thin, and the LGs feel somewhat insubstantial. They definitely have some give in the chassis. Although the Sony isn’t nearly as heavy as my 60-inch Panasonic plasma, it feels solid. One caveat: Apparently, the LG is better for gaming, so if you’re using your 65 inch TV as a gaming monitor, you should choose the LG. But for us, this TV is the centerpiece of our home theatre, so all we care about is the picture.

The picture on The Sony OLED 4K Smart Tv is amazing; the colors are sharp and vibrant. The ease of changing from TV to streaming is just a click away. Not only do I reccomend this television, I plan on purchasing a smaller version for the bedroom & an even smaller one for the kitchen. My young Best Buy sales woman was a pleasure to work with; assisting an elderly woman who knew little about streaming, must have been difficult, I greatly appreciate it and love the TV & sound bar that matches. Great TV, great help Thank you!

This is what top of the line looks like. I fell in love with this TV the first time I saw it at CES. Beautiful is such an over used word and really doesn't adequately describe how clean the picture is straight out of the box. I have this in a dark room, and when you are watching content with perfect blacks, it makes the images come alive on the wall. This Tv brings the theater home during a time when they are all closed up. Do not miss a chance to own such a fantastic home theater piece at an affordable price!

I've had this tv for about 2 weeks. So far so good. The picture clarity is amazing and the sound is pretty good for tv sound with no added sound bar yet. I'm not a gamer so I can't comment on that. I was already familiar with the OS because we own another Sony Smart tv. We're streaming through apps right now while we wait for another cable outlet to be installed in our home. The connection to our wifi is excellent, but disclaimer we do have a router extender due to many devices in our home. My only cons with this tv so far is that I need to push the Google Assistant button to use Google Assistant. On my other Sony, a 55" Bravia from 2020, I can access Google Assistant with just my voice (" Hey Google". It's a nice to be hands free with Google Assistant and with my old tv I've become accustomed to it. I rarely use the remote with that other tv. Why does this newer model not have an option for hands free "Hey Google" access? My other con, that's also true about my other Sony tv, is the reflective quality of the screen. If the room has bright light, you will see a very clear reflection of things in the room while the tv is on. It's a distraction for sure. For the two Sony TVs we own, we have them in bedrooms where the amount of light is easily controlled with blinds and curtains, or we can turn the tv a certain direction to help with the reflections, but for our downstairs where we get a lot of midday and afternoon sunlight, I would probably opt for a cheaper brand TV with less reflective screen. But overall I love this TV. Sony costs more, but if you have it to spend it's definitely worth the price. I'll update if it goes bad anywhere down the line.

Wired's Review summed up the picture quality perfectly: This is not a TV it a portal to other worlds, that is how life like the picture will seem. Setup was easy but I am a technology expert who spent years researching this before buying. If like I was you are sitting there with your panny or pioneer plasma wondering if the upgrade is worth it, it is! Get off the couch and upgrade, the time has come.

I walked into bestbuy ready to purchase a $600 Sony 4K tv. I stumbled upon the ultimate tv in the store which is the Sony A8H. A $3k OLED TV. The picture in the store was beyond amazing and felt this was the tv I want. I got it home and first thing was put on 4K content and was amazed once again. However as a month went by I started watching regular shows and movies not in 4K. EVERYTHING that is not filmed in 4K looks horrible.. extremely grainy and there is so much noise on the screen. The refresh rate on this tv should be much higher for this price range. If all you do is watch 4K content without a lot of action sequences then this is your tv. The colors are bright and amazing and watching any animation movies look phenomenal. Over all if I knew all this before I would of never made such a purchase.

This TV has a beautiful picture, very crisp and clear. We had a 50” plasma previous to this which had a very nice picture but this is a step beyond. The 65” doesn’t hurt either! Got it for a good price, too. However, I do agree with other reviewers who say the remote is lacking. I believe it’s very clunky and hard to use. Trying to input a channel often results in numbers not being recognized or something going screwy. Not user friendly at all. Sony needs to redesign this.

Got the TV during black friday deal. The best TV for picture quality. I kind of started watching more movies and shows than gaming after purchasing this TV. Picture quality looks exceptionally amazing especially with lower quality stream inputs. Absolutely best for upscaling any content. Games can be played smoothly with ps4 slim as well. Haven't seen any input lag issues while playing games. My gaming experience is unaffected but my movie experience skyrocketed.

I bought mine as an open-box and managed to grab it for a really good deal even though it’s in perfect condition. The quality of this tv is insane. It was a big upgrade going from an older 4K Sony that still used a back kit panel that had a lot of light bleed to this. I truly am impressed by the colors, the features, and the look of it. I believe there is also some type of coating over the screen to help against glare. I definitely recommend this TV

Excellent picture, color and quality . I saved over $800 on this great OLED TV by Sony. The color is so vivid and life like. I'm not a gamer, but love watching movies so the hdmi 2.0 spec. isn't a big deal for me. If you enjoy film then, I would totally recommend this Sony. If you're thinking about an OLED television, definitely consider the Sony Bravia. The tv took about 5 min to set up and then it was ready to go. I have had this Sony for about 6 weeks without any trouble.
