Best 4K OLED screen on the market (at an attainable price) in my opinion. Rich blacks and vibrant color. Big upgrade from my previous Samsung LED. Love the Apple Airplay2 integration. Don't use the Android TV integration but sure it would work just as great. Even though I don't game too much and it doesn't support 120hz over HDMI - it appears just fine to me.

I absolutely LOVE this TV. I got a great price on it, too, purchased it when it was on sale. It was very easy to set up with the streaming apps I use. The picture quality is AMAZING! I have it hooked up to an LG Sound Bar and it's just an incredible experience, especially when watching a movie. I have it placed in my living room.

Although I do not have HDMI 2.1 it does not matter to me since I'm not a gamer at all. The picture quality to me was worth the price difference over the LG. Sony's regular price is nearly $2,500 vs the $1,999 on the LG. Since I was able to get this on open box for $1,700 I went with the Sony over the LG.

I have always run the audio signal from the TV through a receiver. After three weeks, I have yet to connect this TV to my receiver as the sound from the TV is that good although I will in the future. There is no need to buy a sound bar for this TV. I have the Google version. We subscribe to HULU Live TV as our primary source. Navigating the options on the TV were a bit confusing initially. Be willing to try different links and be patient. You will learn fast enough. The power to explore optional programs is extensive. The built-in Chromecast is a great plus. I had difficulty in linking up the cast at first, but it is easy. Do NOT download other casting apps. They are not needed and just make things ugly. The video or picture is outstanding. I have read some complaints about background reflections. This is real if there are bright lights or objects across the room AND the current video is dark. A well-lit video like watching a football game is not a problem. There are settings in the TV that might help but I have not played with them yet. Overall, we are quite pleased with this purchase even though it is a bit pricey!

We have pulled out some DVDs that we have not watched for a year or better and wow do they look great even though they are not 4K HD movies they look just great! Our old tv was a 55 inch 1080P. We also like how much easier this TV is to play Youtube Videos and other streaming resources and to switch back to TV. We love it!

It looks great and performs amazing, but if one is an avid gamer, perhaps, look at the LG CX instead, if one is a film enthusiast, then this is the better choice.

My Sony is sitting on a glass table making the slim backside of the screen panel closer to the wall. The operating system is user friendly. The remote can be setup with your cable box (capable of on/power and changing channels) i was able to do away with my Roku box and remote. The TV come with the Google Play Store app and more.

Decided to get rid of cable and this television helped us do that. Picture is crisp, colors are vivid, and it was easy to set up. The thinner design is appreciated as well. Sound is decent, but will probably still add a sound bar. With all that this smart tv does and the high quality, it will probably last us for at least 10 years.

I have a LG OLED65CX and can compare the two. The Sony picture quality on SDR is stunning - much more so than the LG (which is very good). Otherwise HDR and DolbyVision are quite comparable. The Sony is completely viewable in a bright room with sunlight sliding doors behing the seating - plenty of brightness on this OLED. The user interfaces on the two are both quite good - it's easier to adjust the settings on the LG, since you can watch a picture and adjust while on the Sony you cannot - with the LG providing more in-depth adjustment granularity that only geeks (like me) would pay attention to. DRAWBACK: Roku (and Yamaha receiver) CEC ("BraviaSync") integration works wonderfully, it has one major flaw. The Roku (or receiver's) remote control power button will not turn off the TV. It will turn on the TV (and receiver), but it just won't power it off. It forces me to use the Sony remote, which is not as simple to use for non-geeks. The Roku remote does power off/on the LG with another Yamaha receiver, BTW.

We're sorry to hear you're unable to use your device's remote control to turn off the TV. I would recommend using the Sony remote control to power your other devices so long as they are Bravia Sync compatible. You can also ask Roku if the remote can be programmed to power on/off the Sony TV. Picture is more realistic than previous brand of tv that only lasted 4 years. Sound is good enough that I don't need to hook up a sound system, thus less clutter/cables. I am very happy with my purchase. Also, I was able to sync the remote to all devices including my cable box and now can do all functions with one remote, Hallelujiah.

Everything is working very well through wifi and only wifi. Added the You Tube TV app and was very pleased to see it is the same (or very similar) to the experience we enjoyed with Google TV we have with the chromecast set up on a Samsung. Hard to imagine television better than this. Highly recommended.
