I was clinging to my plasma until grandson put a toy through the screen. I was bummed until I installed this Sony A8H! I’m even in a very bright room but have no serious issues with reflection. I have even turned down the brightness 1 notch. Clarity and colors are truly awesome. Even my wife notices the difference each time we watch it and that’s really saying something. I have no complaints at all with this purchase!! We have since moved my grandsons toys but if I wake up to another broken screen I will purchase this same tv without hesitation.

I do not regret buying this. Sony has never disappointed me. The picture is literally pristine. I have connected my ps4 and the view is just amazing. I would literally recommend this to anyone. Amazing to watch 4K content

I will never go back to regular led screen. Watching 4K content is truly amazing and super crisp. When I saw the TV on display in stores, I was a bit worried because it sat very low and putting a soundbar would obviously cover it. But you are able to reposition the stand and have it sit higher and my soundbar fits perfectly underneath. Coming from a Vizio, I absolutely love that I can actually download apps on the andoid OS and linking to my google account is super easy. You can also customize what shortcuts you want in any order on the home screen. I also love that there is a voice control to search videos or movies a lot quicker. The only reason I took one star off is because there are no HDMI 2.1 ports. For the price I paid, Sony could have at least included at least one. I'm still not sure about the burn ins and how long this TV will last but I also purchased the extra protection service just in case. But overall I am still very satisfied with this especially since it was a huge upgrade in screen size for me.

With the understanding that the AH Oled was similar in operation, I purchased it. The AH is comparable to the newer AJ re. picture...; but the remote is slightly different. The remote is also not backlit.

I was used to my roommate's a-few-hundred-dollar TV and I have to say wow what an upgrade this is. I'm really happy that I chose the 65" model because 55" just does not look big enough any more after I got used to the visual feast on a 65". The only thing I wish I had known was that I was going to be a gamer before I purchased this TV. Its competitor LG CX series has HDMI 2.1 ports that support some of the next-gen console graphic settings (120 FPS at 4K, for example), whereas this TV, unfortunately, doesn't. However, I got this TV at a really good discount on Prime Day, so I still don't regret it.

The change in picture from LED to OLED HDR is unbelievable. Great for movies and games in HDR are astounding. Would recommend to anyone. A little expensive but well worth the money in my opinion. Snappy and easy to use UI. Much faster than my previous TV. Apps load almost instantly and I like the fact that I can change picture settings on an app by app or input by input basis depending on what it’s being used for.

It's a beautiful TV with great picture and sound quality. Unfortunately, our first TV turned out to be a lemon. After about 3 weeks the TV started to experience power failures where the TV would randomly shutoff and the red LED indicator would blink 3 times. Power cycling the TV would work, but it kept shutting itself off at random while watching TV. We contacted Sony and we troubleshooted per their guidance (power cycling and factory reset). However, the next day it happened again but this time the TV never turned back on. Luckily, we bought it during the extended return period, so we took it back to Best Buy. They verified the failure and gave us a replacement, 25 days after purchase. I don't know if I would be sane enough to write this review had it not been for that extended return period. Our replacement TV is great and has no issues (so far). TLDR; Bought TV on sale for 1799 with an extended return period and got a lemon. Got a replacement 25 days later and couldn't be happier!

I was able to get it at a large discount along with the installation, which was professionally done by Geek Squad thanks to my Total Tech subscription. Great TV with awesome picture quality for genuine 4K media with great upscaling for anything less. Only gripe I have is the volume taking several presses of the 'up' button to get anywhere that's enough to listen to. Small issue, but that means in turn we get fine volume control. I'll take it. At the end of the day, I'm glad I got this tv and I hope it lasts for a long time.

An absolute gem of a TV! Just maybe not for me.

HDR and Dolby vision performance is absolutely stunning. The picture could get a little brighter but I watch mostly in a dark environment anyway so it’s not an issue. As good as the TV is unfortunately I think I’m going to have to return it. I have a JBL 9.1 Soundbar that sounds awesome but for some reason the TV is causing the soundbar to turn itself on multiple times a day when everything is off. I have chatted with Sony support twice and talked to them on the phone once but they have no clue how to solve the issue. I even changed to my old soundbar just to check and the same thing happens. I would love to give the TV 5 stars but I just can’t unless this problem is solved. I have recently discovered that it’s caused by the internet connection somehow because if I turn the WiFi in the TV off before shutting everything down the issue does not happen. I don’t want to have to remember to do this every night and feel for the price I paid for the TV it should work correctly. Please do not let my issue drive you away from buying this set. It’s awesome!

Night and day difference from an LED/LCD. The only downside is I wouldn’t get this tv for gaming. The fresh rate may be too low for next gen gaming.

Nothing less then amazing

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Coming from an older plasma I wanted something with the same clarity and motion transfer I hate the skipping and jitter I see when looking at a standard LED or Qled After a full month of comparison shopping and research I ended up with a split decision between the LG cx or this Sony OLED TV being I watch more media then play games I decided the sony would be a better match- I am so happy with my purchase Perfect picture, great sound( even better paired with matching sound bar). So far I have no real issues with this product- I had a couple issues with pairing the matching sound bar but quickly worked it out. Can’t wait to pair it up with a 4K hdr Blu-ray player in the future.
