I previously had a plasma tv that was 10 years old with an excellent picture which was better than new led TVs. The OLED is very comparable to the older plasma.

Easy to set up and get going, all settings are nigh on spot on straight out of the box, don’t waste money on calibration , if you need to to there are plenty of youtube videos out there. Buying from curb side was a good experience, no one up selling you on those expensive hdmi cables that don’t work any better than the cheap $10 ones I’ve had for 15 years. My one main issue is the whole smart tv forcing adverts or special offers on you on the main home page, top bar contains ‘sponsored’ items or ‘staff picks’, get rid of those and it would be 5 stars . You can limit some stuff, special offers in settings etc. but not all or that top bar. This tv comes with an HBO special 30 day offer that now sends me CONSTANT EMAIL REMINDERS that I haven’t tried it yet , even tried blocking that email address but they still somehow get through.

Best TV I own

It appeared that the Sony 'looked' crisper and just better. So, I talked to the Magnolia folks at Best Buy about what I perceived as the differences and they suggested that I could view them side-by-side in the Magnolia theater. The difference was real. Even though Sony uses LG displays, their processing is better. I am very happy with this purchase.
