Better than LG and Samsung

I can say this model comes out on top without question. I will say that LG has a comparable screen. They both show great colors without the motion lag. However, LG has a horrible user interface and is a pain in the butt to work with. Samsung is just the opposite. It has a decent interface but the colors and the "motion lag" are horrible on it. Set up on this TV is super simple and I love the interface on it. It is easy to guide around in. The picture is absolutely incredible as is the sound system coming from a flat screen TV. I highly recommend this over the other brands

Super Disappointed...I expected more from SONY!!!

Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I started watching OLED tvs a year ago because I wasn't sure how long my 60" Panasonic Plasma would keep going (it's still going). I researched and decided to wait and see if the SONY A8G 65" would come down in price when they phased that model out. It did not drop low enough for me and I began to watch it's replacement the SONY A8H 65". When Best Buy dropped the price onf the A8H by $1000, I jumped to get the tv because $1799 (still on sale) was a deal. Well, I believe the reason they dropped the price so much is because it is the biggest piece of junk I have every had. The tv locked up at least four times in the first three weeks. The first time it locked up there was no sound out of the sound bar. The second and third time, there was no sound out of the sound bar or tv. The fourth time, which broke this camels back, no sound from tv or sound bar, no menu items would work, and I could not shut the tv off with the remote/power button. I had to physically pull the power plug to shut the tv off. Not to mention the operation system is very difficult to find what you're looking for and the TV Channel/Menu fonts are so tiny I had to stand in front of the tv to read them (I'm blind but not that blind). I went in to ask the Geek Squad guys if they knew anything I could try and of course they didn't know jack and just said to call the Geek Squad number. So then I got smart and walked to the tv section and found the tv guys to see if they knew what to try. The guy I got said "Sorry but it sounds like you got a bad tv and at the very least I need to return it and get another one." In fact, they recommended getting away from the SONY A8H and going with the LG CX (comparable) OLED tv. I went home did some research, after the SONY locked up again, returned it and got the LG CX 65" OLED tv. The LG is leaps and bounds better than the SONY and I'm sorry to say that the SONY was a great disappointment. I believe the operating system is what kept locking the tv up and my new LG has no operation system issues, picture and sound are better, was only $100 more, and the TV Channel/Menu font is big enough to read! Word of advice if you're looking for OLED tvs….go with the LG until SONY figures out their issues.
