    It is no secret that these are LG panels with Sony's software, but boy does the software make a difference. I have previously owned 3 LG OLEDs and all struggled with panning shots. I am very sensitive to studder, and I am happy to report there is none with this set. IMO, Sony takes the cake with their motion handling. I did give the built in apps a try, but there was undefeatable lip sync issues with running through my AVR. The "cinema" picture mode is very impressive out of the box, just remember to turn off the motion smoothing settings.
