At times there is no sound on my sonos sound bar. Also screen goes blank when using streaming device (there is sound but not picture and you have to select the input again for picture to show up). Not happy with the TV.

We regret to hear that you are having an audio issue with your Sony Bravia TV and your soundbar and the TV's brightness is not enough. This is usually not the case with our premium TVs. Please ensure both your TV and soundbar have the latest firmware. Perform a software update if they are outdated. The software update includes key features, applications, bug fixes, and feature improvements. Feel free to test the TV and soundbar again and verify if it resolves the issue. I had a Samsung 7 series prior and the quality of all streaming is much higher on the Samsung. I read after that OLEDS can’t upscreen bad video quality while led can. YouTube tv quality is terrible. I would have returned it if I didn’t shred the box already.

The quality of the picture depends solely on the source quality. When streaming, make sure that you have high speed internet connection so that the quality or the resolution of the movie you are watching won't drop. Also, we highly recommend playing high-quality content for the best viewing experience. The picture quality can also be adjusted according to your preference by changing the picture settings of the TV: https://helpguide.sony.net/tv/husltn1/v1/en-003/01-03-09_01.html.
Please note that our Bravia A8H has our Ambient Optimization feature, our unique ambient optimization technology where the picture and sound are automatically adjusted to your environment, optimizes the brightness to room conditions, boosting brightness in light rooms and reducing it to dark ones so you get the perfect view.

We were expecting an out of this earth experience, the thing is that we don’t even have cable TV, we stream 100% all of our movies and shows. We watched 3 movies and didn’t notice the diferente from our previos 2014 Sony to this one. We are guessing that we don’t have the 4K content yet so it was a waste of money for us.

No Atmos on Disney+

Android system is ok, but the biggest issue is streaming. Disney+ does not pass Atmos on the Sony app. Vudu and Netflix do. For the most expensive tv in its class, I expected more. Very dissatisfied
