    I waited 2 years for my Sony Bravia and the first on lasted 12 months then black screen of death..Second on was delivered the day after Thanksgiving ruining my plans..It came with scratches which I called about immediately..It lasted 5weeks-a Sony Bravia 65” brand new and Google TV glitched out..Now I’m waiting on TV #3 in 14 months and still not satisfied..Delivery today on TV # 4..Hopefully Best Buy and Sony will deliver what I’ve paid 4 times for and waited to surprise myself..This TV when working properly is amazing,I even purchased a Google Chrome Streaming for my other TV and love it so I’m willing to try again

    After 2 weeks started locking up would have sound but picture was black with white pixels on left of tv or the back light would be lit but a gray picture remote wouldn't respond or would power on tv the only way to resolve issues was unplug power for 10 minutes and then would restart and be ok til the next time its happened on the 18th of December for the 5th time tv was bought on November 22

    This tv is awful. Don’t buy it. It constantly doesn’t turn on and we have to take out power cord every other day to get it to turn on

    This is an excellent TV. Sure, "on paper" it loses out to cheaper, more spec-heavy TVs from the Chinese brands (TCL, Hisense), but this TV is excellent in all the ways that makes a Sony TV great, quality. The colors on the Bravia 3 (like all Bravias) are accurate out of the box. No weird hues, or oversaturation. This TV also has Sony's XR processor which makes lower quality content look phenomenal in 4K. Go ahead and try streaming an old season of Survivor from 2010, which originally aired at 1080i, and you'll be able to see details like facial hair on people's faces. It's honestly like magic. Build quality is great too; it feels hefty and sturdy, not light, hollow and plasticky. TV review sites will give the Bravia 3 mediocre reviews because it has a direct lit panel and no local dimming zones, but honestly, if you value build quality and picture quality, this is your TV. If you wants specs for cheap, go TCL or Hisense, but if you value the Sony quality, this is a great option for the price.

    Solid LED TV

    Bravia 3 has a narrow niche - basic picture quality on a high-quality build that will last a long time - if that is exactly what you’re looking for, this is your best option. Once you upgrade from LED it is hard to go back to it. Lack of local dimming made for blocky blacks w/ poor contrast, but that is to be expected. Not a good choice for gaming or dark rooms. Know what you are buying - significantly better picture quality is available in higher-end Bravia models. I ended up upgrading to a Bravia 5 75” mini LED, which better matched my wants - cost twice as much, but the upgrade was worth it. In the age of $300 65” TV’s, the appliances don’t need to last very long to get your money’s worth. A Sony TV that lasts 10+ years less useful than it was a decade ago. If you don’t have $1600 to buy a Bravia 5, consider a cheaper brand w/ high picture quality rather than the $800 Bravia 3. My personal opinion, Google interface is better than the other stock options. Quick, minimal ads, simple, intuitive, smooth. Four stars as it lags in value and picture quality, commensurate w/ Sony pricing, and LED technology.
