Was torn between this TV and the Samsung Neo QLED. I always bought Sony TV’s until about 10 years ago and really got into Samsung’s. After talking with the experts for the Sony and the Samsung TVs in Beat Buy, Both of the representatives were so informative and very patient with me. I decided to go with the Sony. Main reason was because the room that the TV was going in is a dark room and Sony is great for that. Also, sports are also best watched on a Sony TV. I have only had this set, also with the Bravia Theater Bar 6 about a week, but they have both really exceeded my expectations. The setup was so easy and the quality is on point! I have a 20 year old backlit Sony Big Screen that is a 1080 that is now 19 years old. Does not get used much since all of our other TV’s are now 4K HDTV’s, but just the fact that it still works and has never had to be serviced, make me believe in Sony all the more. Get this set, you won’t be sorry.

Bought this tv to replace a different brand that I had for 3 years. My neighbor recommended getting a Sony so we looked into it. Great picture, but I just wish the sound was a little louder.

Amazing TV overall! Super easy to set up, the Google TV interface is smooth and fast, and the sound and picture quality are crystal clear. I chose Mini-LED over OLED for its durability and longer lifespan. Absolutely worth the price—this feels like a TV I won’t need to replace for many years!

The Sony Bravia 5 mini led has been great. I was pleasantly surprised that the glare from my very large window was less than I was expecting. I also like that it auto adjust to lighting in the room. My colors never seem oversaturated.

Largest TV we have owned so far. We sit a little closer than the recommended distance for a TV of this size. It took us a week to get used to this “JumboTron”! Only had it for a few weeks so we can’t rate it on longevity. We have owned several smaller Sony TVs in the past and they lasted over 10 years. We still use our ancient cable box which only delivers a 1080i signal. This TV has very good visuals at only 2K. 4K streaming movies thru the Apple box are out of the ball park. The YouTube 4K demo movies give you examples of how resolute HDR can be experienced. Unfortunately it took me several days to understand and adjust the display. I have to turn off the “Motion” setting for 2K cable box viewing or I get flickering and halo-ing. To get accurate “Flesh Tone” I had to repeatedly adjust brightness, contrast, color, hue, frank, and ed! There are several menu, (wrench icon), and setting adjustments I had to spend several hours to master. The good news is I don’t see any vertical banding which was a problem on older high def TVs we owned. The TV is brand new so we’ll see how it goes down the road. I usually don’t rate a device like this until I have owned it for a year or two but the visuals are very pleasing, even in 2K (surprisingly). Lost a star due to the frustrating setup required but still recommendable.

Great TV with a few issues

I wasn't impressed at first, but I watched a YouTube video on how to set up your Bravia and it made a big difference, especially for gaming. Since then the TV has been mostly great.
The wifi signal seems to cut out from time to time. It's definitely the TV. I can still load my streaming services on my iPad and even on the Fire stick plugged into the back. But the TV will say "Wi-Fi connection lost"
The remote isn't backlit like previous remotes from cheaper sets. I gave my old set to my daughter but I kept the remote and gave her the remote from this TV.
The remote sensor is a little weak. If anything is barely in the way, you'll need to move so you can get a line of sight.
The speakers aren't bad at all, but I definitely hear the difference when I connect to my Bose soundbar.
Speaking of, Sony TV's seem to have disconnect problems with Bose soundbar. I've had to reset my soundbar twice.
I really like how the TV auto detects when I turn on my PS5 and switches over to it.
I got a good deal on the price and I'm happy with my purchase despite a couple minor issues.

Great definition and clear image even during daytime (unlike our Samsung Smart TV) and works great with the Sony Bravia soundbar. Still, it has some "details" that we don't love, being the first one the fact that I need to get a Sony subscription to get additional Apps installed (Samsung doesn't need one). Also for some reason it is quite cumbersome to turn the TV on/off. Not sure if it is a remote (batteries?) issue or just the height at which we installed (over our fireplace).
