Big Upgrade

At first glance I think it looks about the same as the A95L, but with the upgraded processor it feels a big less laggy in the menus and hopefully a bit more future proofed. One note is that the SDR brightness is a bit low until you mess with the configurations to brighten it up a bit.

Best TV ever!

We were going to jump to a 75inch, even though it wasn't necessary. When we got to Best Buy. The picture on this TV absolutely blew ever TV up there out of the water! I have always wanted a high end OLED. My wife fell in love too. We were sold! Its a 65 inch and was $500 more than i wanted to spend but the quality is outstanding! My family members and friends are also blown away. Its so nice i highly recommend this TV!

Simply astounding

Coming from the A80j which is still running strong. The HDMI connection via e arc seems to be having a problem staying connected once I shut off the TV or Cinema 50 receiver, I’m considering returning but the picture is so beautiful the decision is touch to make

We understand that issues with the eARC connection can be difficult and this is certainly not the experience we aim for. We want to ensure all aspects of your TV function properly, here are some troubleshooting steps that can resolve the problem:
1- Perform a power reset of your TV and Receiver. Turn off both devices and disconnect the power cords and HDMI cable from both devices for two minutes, then reconnect the HDMI cable to the HDMI IN ARC of the TV and the other end to the HDMI OUT ARC of the receiver. Connect the power cords, and turn on first the TV and then the Receiver.
2- Enable the BRAVIA sync settings on the TV by going to settings > channels and inputs > external inputs > BRAVIA sync settings > BRAVIA sync device list > enable
3- Make sure the eARC mode is set to Auto. In settings go to display and sound > audio output > eARC mode > auto

I been own previously Sony products, like Trinitron TV ( still have it and woking great) Bravia TV's, even projection TV, also video cassette,DVD Player's and more you name it, some are still working great.This Bravia 8 II we just get is awseome TV, the picture and soun d are very clear, souund is very clear even with out soundbar. its like a picture frame on my wall. Video and Audio are stunning

I wasn’t expecting a big difference going from one OLED to another, but I’m impressed. Main reason I upgraded was cause the audio processing on the C9 was awful. Had issues getting great sound. The Bravia does a great job with audio processing and I’m able to play content at any quality.

BestBuy purchase experience was fantastic as well. Great viewing angle and brightness

I upgraded from a 2012 Sony Bravia and my mind is blown. The picture quality was as good as expected but I am truly impressed by the brightness and the viewing angle. I don’t feel like I even need to swivel the televison anymore, no matter where I am in the the room, the picture is fantastic. Highly recommend.

Switched from Samsung A95L

I’m so glad I made the switch. This TV has been a completely different experience. The menu is fast and responsive, the upscaling is excellent, and streaming (including sports) looks dramatically better. Everything just works the way a flagship TV should. Overall, it feels like a much more polished product. Very happy with this TV and highly recommend it.

If you are looking for the best OLED that does not compromise picture quality, this is the one for you. I considered the flagship LG, Panasonic and Samsung and have to honestly say this beats them all in the picture quality categories. Is there a “Sony Tax”? Absolutely and sill worth the premium. From Plasma to SONY OLED I'm happy!

I can't speak about the audio because I have Sonos surround system. A bit pricey but worth it when you get it set to the way you want, it's made me say you can't get much better than that a few times hope this helps.

Heard that Samsung and LG may be brighter, but I can't imagine anyone having a problem with this tv's brightness. Only complaints is I wish Sony provided guidance on calibration, instead of having to rely on rtings and other sites. Maybe they have it but I couldn't find. Would also prefer more than 1 HDMI 2.1 port, since one is for earc.

It is the latest model and replaced an older Sony that would no longer connect to WiFi. The pictures brilliant and the menu is easy to navigate, so setting it up is easy. I am very satisfied with this product.
