    I’m very disappointed! First I couldn’t raise or lower the sound then when I finally accomplished that after coming into Best Buy for help, I’m unable to use other features on the remote. Another trip into the store and hopefully they can help me? I’m still thinking about returning it!

However, you can set up the Chromecast built-in (Google Cast) feature or AirPlay as an alternative to the Miracast or Screen mirroring. Chromecast built-in or AirPlay allows you to display (cast) your favorite websites and app screens on your mobile device directly to the TV.

As a workaround, you might try adjusting the picture settings, such as increasing the brightness or switching to a different picture mode for a more balanced look. Picture settings also allow a wide array of changes to color, contrast, clarity, motion settings, and brightness that can improve the viewed content on your Google TV.     My sony 8 has amazing colors no matter the time of day. Amazing quality that my family even ordered their own. This is my 2nd sony tv i have owned and will buy a new one in the future for my den. P.S. i recommend the sonos sound bar! It adds an amazing sound boost throughout the 1st floor

    The overall picture quality thanks to the black levels, brightness and stability is excellent.     Great TV, but save your old remote!

    In response to the recent demise of my ten-year-old 3D Bravia, I acquired a Bravia 8 (65XR80CB) as a replacement. The Black Friday pricing was favorable, and the setup process was straightforward. Furthermore, the integration with my subscriptions was seamless. While the new Bravia offers superior performance compared to the earlier model, I acknowledge that it may not have fully met my expectations in terms of surround sound quality. Although not audiophile-grade, the sound output is impressive considering the television’s thin design. However, I do possess a dedicated 7.2 sound system consisting of a Denon AVR and Klipsch heritage speakers and subwoofers. Regrettably, the new remote control, unlike its predecessor, is incapable of establishing a connection with the AVR. A simple workaround involves utilizing the old remote control, but I would prefer to consolidate my remote controls into a single device. Despite my efforts to resolve this issue with Sony tech support, they were unable to provide a solution, asserting that it is not possible. Despite this inconvenient setback, the Bravia 8 remains an exceptional television. Its overall performance and features far surpass those of its predecessor, making it a worthwhile investment.

    Purchased the new Bravia 65” OLED Google TV 3 months ago. I am so frustrated with this product! The TV screen freezes so often that you can’t get through a 2 hour program! Have to then turn off and restart. Sometimes having to totally unplug and restart! This is happening 3 to 5 times daily. Sony released a software update that was supposed to fix this problem but it has NOT! This has become a terrible purchase and an awful replacement for the old Bravia we owned without any issues. Sony and Best Buy (as its seller) have to do better! Only reason for two stars is the great picture quality. Signed I’m starting to hate this TV!
