I would hate our daughter watch tv too close but I Mounted on the wall looked oh so beautiful tv anyway safer away from our daughter. The picture quality is definitely way better than any other TV I’ve ever had before, crystal clear and the white does not change to blue/yellow like it does on other TVs. If you are going to mount it make sure you get the right size, I think it’s like 300x300
