LOVE this tv!! Great picture quality! Looks great hanging on wall or above fireplaces because it’s nice and sleek! Easy to set up and use! We added a Sony soundbar to give it better sound but that’s necessary with all TVs anymore.

The Sony BRAVIA XR A80J Series OLED TV is a masterpiece. The picture quality is breathtaking, with vibrant colors and deep blacks. The Google TV integration makes it easy to navigate and discover new content. This TV delivers an immersive entertainment experience like no other.

I was blown away by the picture quality of this Sony OLED. Those display models that have an excellent picture in Best Buy store, well this is it. I compared this to LG C2 and I went with the Sony because it was cheaper. Caught an open box for half off. Make sure everything is included if you catch same deal.

I decided to replace my 9.5 year old 50" Panasonic Plasma as the picture was starting to decline. Based on my budget and what I was looking for I decided to go with XR A80J. It was so easy to set up right out of the box and get up on my tv entertainment center. Setting up my apps went very smoothly and picture quality is fantastic. The ports in the back are kind of hidden which looks cool, but is a little bit of a pain, but not the end of the world. The only thing I do not like is the remote not being backlit considering the amount of money spent. I paired this device with a JBL - 2.1-Channel Soundbar with Wireless Subwoofer and Dolby Digital, Thanks to the soundbar setup for the stand I was able to slide the soundbar right underneath the tv. Makes for a nice clean and efficient looking set up.

I absolutely love this 4k tv set. Picture is amazing work well in differnt lighting. Sure you can purchase a much cheaper TV. But at the end of the day the picture quality is much much better than any of those cheap brands.

Great TV! Very easy to set up using their on screen guide. We have a wall of windows in the room where we placed the tv and have no problem with glare or brightness washing out the picture during daylight viewing. Picture quality is stunning. We fully expected to purchase a sound bar system along with the tv, but the XR sound screen feature is fantastic and eliminates the need and cost of an external sound system. With our previous tv we were using 3 remotes to control everything, now one remote that was so simple to set up does it all. Love the one button quick access to our streaming services. Can’t wait to watch football on this set this fall! This is a tv we will thoroughly enjoy for years to come.

Best TV I've ever owned. I went through about 4 tvs trying to find one with a great picture. They always blame it on the source. Well, I used the same sources for all 4 and this was by far the best picture. Sound is avg.

Picture is amazing, probably the best I had seen at the time. However, all the firmware issues negate the picture quality as it is overall, a terrible TV. I took a chance with a Sony as it was indeed a better picture at the store and looking to invest in movie theater style for my main room. I bought 4 Samsung's for the rest of the house, and they were better purchases. I had to return the TV once, that should have been a sign. It constantly disconnects and reconnects to the Wi-Fi. The google TV and Bravia content is defective. Additionally, when max was released, it is not able to download on the TV due to weird compatibility issues. Neither Sony or Max has a resolution despite it running on OS 10 and requiring only 5 or higher. We have had for 2 years now only because we are unable to return and trying to ride out the 3 years interest free we got when we made the purchase.

This is the best TV I've ever owned. I could never go back to an LCD panel TV now. The true blacks are amazing. 4K HDR is amazing. The built in Google TV is one of the better platforms I've seen on a TV, though I typically use external devices for my streaming. The sound is incredible. The look of the TV is super stylish. The stands are adjustable to accommodate different setups. The TV is plenty bright in the low-to-medium brightness room it sits in. I struggle to find anything negative to say about the TV (maybe the lack of "night mode" audio setting), it's pretty much all good. Nothing but praise for the 65'' A80J!

Every time I use this TV, it amazes me how good the Picture Quality (PQ) can be. While the brightness and picture quality is amazing in most content (movies, sports, TV, etc.), gaming suffers a bit in terms of brightness. The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5: There seems to be a protection against burn-in by immediately turning the screen dimmer when detecting static images, such as banners, players' names, etc. This auto dimming gets pretty annoying when playing FPS games that require focusing on dark details and detecting other players/objects in the dark or shadows. If left in default settings, it gets really bad to the point that objects/players are undetectable. This is not a huge issue for me as I mainly didn't invest in this TV for gaming. It's one of the best TVs for other content, and it's smooth and easy on my eyes. It's also important to note that I use an Apple TV 4k for streaming instead of the native TV apps. It handles Dolby content much better (IMO).

The TV has excellent color and contrast leaves a WOW impression. The picture quality is the best. It has the same quality in home as the displays in the store. We are completely satisfied with this purchase.

This TV has changed my viewing experience! Watching movies and TV shows in 4K on this TV is a must see. Hopefully when live TV is able to stream in 4K for free, I can get the full experience of using this television.

So far, the TV performs beautifully. I have always had SONY TVs, but my 6-year old X930D recently stopped functioning so I did a lot of research and decided to go with this new OLED and I am really happy with it. The interface is easy to use and very snappy. The picture is incredible. It's my first OLED so I'm still amazed by the contrast and colors. And the high-quality sound made it so I could retire my sound bar. The only thing I could possibly criticize about this TV is its reduced brightness, which I understand is normal for OLEDs. I have a PS5 and a SONY 4K BD Player attached to it as well. I'm overall very impressed by the TV and so long as it is not a lemon like the X930D, I will sing its praises. Hopefully this beautiful TV will adorn my home for decades.

The Sony 65” OLED has excellent picture quality. I have a 14 year old Pioneer plasma with perfect blacks so wanted something comparable in this regard. The Sony OLED is great with the deep blacks, colors, and seems to be brighter than the old tv. The Sony turns on immediately and the Google interface is very responsive. My wife and I are both older and sometimes have trouble hearing dialogue clearly and as hoped, this tv helps with that. We watch a lot of older black and white movies and the upscaling of these are really good. One thing I am disappointed in is that there is no info about what is being watched such as when it is HDR content or Dolby Vision as Vizio and LG does.

Color and audio is amazing once calibrated to your preference. Image will be vibrant and sound will be extravagant. Connectivity has no issues with any device. Screen cast works with apple and Android alike. Overall it's a worthit buy

First of all, I am not a 'gamer', so VRR and lack of (2) 2.1 HDMI does not matter to me. What MATTERS is to deliver the BEST possible image quality for movie and regular TV viewing. This, the Sony '65A80J delivers in SPADES! The absolute BLACK blacks, color accuracy (out of the box), and sound from the built in drivers delivers an AMAZING experience! And as a side note, according to a leading consumer testing organization, the Sony 'brand' is the MOST RELIABLE, across the board. What is there NOT to love?

We love this TV - but there are two things that you will need to do to get the picture as vibrant as you see it in the store - (1) It will be set to STANDARD in Settings - Put it on VIVID (2)There is a light sensor setting - you will need to shut that OFF because the TV pictures changes with the light or lack there of in the room! Love it more than ever now! The sound is PERFECT and the set up a piece of cake - it has a mind of its own!

COULD NOT BE HAPPIER with this TV. I was a little worried at first about the lighting before I purchased it because I have a window on each side of the TV in my living room but this TV has not been a let down with the lighting at all! The picture is beyond amazing! I have owned Samsung's, Vizio's, ect and was worried about purchasing my first Sony but I could not be happier. The OLED picture is stunning and this TV is worth every cent. If you are concerned over paying a little bit more for the OLED don't be! Make the jump and purchase this tv you will be glad you did. I did purchase the 5 year warranty to go along with it just because of how great the warranty is and with spending this much money on a tv I thought it would be a great idea to have it. Best TV I have ever owned hands down.
