Really, the best TV we have in our house hands down. And I own a LG CX OLED 77". Don't get me wrong the LG is a great TV, but it isn't their best version.... This Sony is really good. I personally also think that for sound coming from the TV itself, it is not bad. Now that doesn't mean to say that a sound bar wouldn't be better..... Also I think there is only one downfall with this TV and it most likely isn't Sony's doing. Google TV doesn't support it's own companies internet browser. The best way to web browse is to cast it from a phone? Or use another device.

We love this TV. We bought two of them and the picture and sound quality are amazing.

Came from a 50" Panasonic Plasma from around 2010, and this is a massive upgrade! I was mainly worried about brightness reading comparisons to higher end LED TVs, but this gets plenty bright and looks absolutely phenomenal. Coupled with the price drop, really too good to pass up! Now just hoping this holds up for 11 years like the plasma did.

Great TV. Great picture. Setup is fairly easy — a simple picture setting other than the default from the factory (which suffers a bit from “soap opera effect”) is Custom — you don’t have to spend a lot of time tweaking every single setting (and there are a LOT) or be an expert to quickly get a good, versatile picture for just about every application. We don’t use the TV speakers, but were SHOCKED when doing the initial setup at how good it sounded for built-in speakers. If we didn’t have it all running through a decent stereo, we’d be perfectly happy with the sound quality.

This is an awesome Sony TV. We purchased from BestBuy with the great help of their very knowledgeable sales associate. The purchase decision was made easy and very understandable with the aid of such great help. BestBuys team in the Blakeney store location in Charlotte NC. are exceptional. The Sony TV we bought has excellent picture and sound quality. It is easy to use and much better than any Samsung TV I ever experienced and really better than the Samsung I own which uses a wand type remote that is not intuitive and very frustrating to use. My Samsung TV causes anxiety just to turn it on!N

Great picture from most angles. Will stick to Sony tv’s. Always seem to perform very well. Have a sound bar so not sure how great the sound is without.

Great picture quality. Colors are vibrant …better than my 75” Samsung Qled tv. Setup was easy and took only 15 minutes. Won’t be disappointed with this television.

This is a great tv with excellent picture quality and sound , nice size tv for living room , watching movies in HDR it’s outstanding I would recommend this tv , Sony makes great TVs

I researched and researched and researched my next TV for well over a year. I was between the Samsung QLED (then QNED) 90 series, the LG C1, and the Sony A80J. All my research and my personal pristine history with Sony products seemed to indicate that the Sony was the clear winner in virtually every category, except gaming (back to that in bit). My main hold up was the price, but I assumed based on Sony's world-reknowned quality assurance the price difference would be worth it in the long run. I have now owned this TV for over a month and have used it extensively for movies, TV shows, AND gaming. This TV is INCREDIBLE. Being an old school plasma fan, I was very concerned with being able to still have that warm cinema screen.... this TV delivers with flying colors on that front. Just use the preset "Cinema" setting for TV settings and voila! All plasma fans are instantly relieved. However, this TV's "Standard" setting is jaw dropping. The colors are punchy but not over the top, and it is a VERY BRIGHT picture and goes toe to toe with the pop of the Samsung sets. Crank up the setting to "Vivid" and I am fairly certain even bright TV Samsung folks will be more then happy. THis thing can really do it all. I have connected the TV to an HDTV antenna, and WOW, what a picture, what an interface!! This TV feature NTSC 3.0, making it absolutely future proof. The antenna TV has a guide!!! Finally, the piece that made me the most nervous, gaming. While I am not a hardcore gamer, I consider myself to be a moderate gamer. I have a PS4, Xbox One, and Switch connected to this tv and I can honestly say, I have absolutely no idea what the concern with gaming performance is on this TV. It has been far and above the best gaming experience I have ever experienced anywhere at anytime. The screen is gorgeous and response times (in preset "Game Mode") are incredible. The screen refresh rate is amazing and I can only imagine it will get better whenever the VRR firmware update comes to fruition. My final word is WOW. Just WOW. Lifelong Sony fan here who cannot say enough about how this TV is a testament to the Sony name. You will not be disappointed . (By the way, yes Google TV as an operating system on this TV is also incredible!)

The best TV for the best picture. Excellent resolution with plenty of power to keep up with video gaming. 120 4k can't be beat.

Hadn't gotten a new DVD player in years, content to use my old BluRay. This gives a fantastic picture with easy set up. Have it connected to my Sony Bravia XRA80J OLED 4K TV and couldn't be happier. It also upconverts my old DVDs into a superior viewing experience. Make sure however you purchase a 4K HDMI cable (sold separately) to go between DVD player and TV else you wont get an optimal picture. Highly recommended.

Excellent TV overall for the sale price. We wanted one comparable to plasma and the OLED fits. Expensive but worth it

We have had this TV for a year. Love everything about it. No signs of burn in. Once you see true blacks you cant go back. 4k content looks amazing.
