Very Sharp picture

Set up was fairly easy, and the fact that it has the 3 way multi position stand worked great on the TV stand and sound we already owned. Only issue is that we have had it switch to Google Search mode on its own about 5 or 6 times in the time we owned it. Will need to contact support regarding this minor issue.

Absolutely stunning video quality because of the post processing - Sony’s Forte! Had an LG E8 OLED before this and this TV makes other OLED’s look like normal televisions. Love the 3-way stand and setup convenience.. Wish it had more HDMI 2.1 ports but hey.. something is better than nothing and there’s ways to work around that. It has GoogleTV which I’m sure is better than any other built-in SmartTV players but I’m an AppleTV guy and there’s no competition there when it comes to outputting stunning videos and pictures.Paired it with my existing Bose 700 surround setup and I’m loving it. Absolutely recommend this combination and the TV!

Beautiful picture and colors and true black. We were told on purchase that the sound quality on these tv’s may be off and that we may want to think about getting a sound bar. However there is absolutely no problem with the sound. It sounds amazing.

I'm satisfied with its sound quality and brightness. I still need time to appreciate the picture quality that came with OLED technology since I couldn't big change from that of my old SONY. We really likes using the voice remote control and Google, keeping searching online videos and news easier.

I have always been a fan of Sony and when I saw this one, It was a no brainer. The picture quality blew all the others away. The in screen speakers sound like stereo; however, I did purchase a Sony sound bar at a bundle price. It is very easy to setup and use and the price was very reasonable. I highly recommend this TV.

I'm actually losing sleep from staying up all night staring at it since it looks so good. My prior TV was a 60" Panasonic plasma, which was no slouch. This blows it away. I did need to tweak the image settings to get a perfect picture for my room, but once set up properly everything is incredible. Rich colors, bright (but detail filled) brights and the deepest blackest blacks I've ever seen. I'm a professional video editor and I stare at broadcast grade monitors all day long. I can honestly say this is right up there with the best of the best. Additionally, the audio is probably the best self contained sound I've heard in any flat screen TV. We watched a broadway concert video prior to setting up our external surround system, and I was surprised at the high quality provided by the set alone. I'd say for many people that might be all you need-- it's that good. Once you experience OLED, there is no going back. Glad I made this choice, I'm very satisfied.

Meanwhile with any sony I have owned, its still gets updates 3+ years later, works better, lasts longer. I used to advocate for vizio but their quality also tanked. Sony TV buyer for life.

I bought this and a Sony STR-DH790 7.1 Receiver. The picture is amazing and I have all I need to utilize a Series X, Switch, PS4, Apple TV and Hue Play HDMI Sync Box. I equally use the TV for gaming and television use. It is easy to set up, and Sony’s online support is amazing!

I was contemplating between the A80J and the LG CX/C1 models for a long time. I'm an avid gamer and I was planning on using the TV with my PS5. I chose the Sony A80J for a couple of reasons. 1. Picture quality is above all the competition. Sony is known for their image processing and this Bravia line model is no different. The LG models come close, but the A80J does it better. 2. PS5 has no VRR support yet, so going with this TV made sense. The input lag difference is definitely there (~10ms on LG C1 vs ~16ms on Sony A80J), but at the end of the day I thought this was a negligible amount for console gaming. I get all my "competitive" gaming done on my PC on a gaming monitor so I didn't really care. Also, once the VRR update comes along in December for the Sony TVs, I'm sure the VRR firmware update will soon follow on the PS5's (hopefully). 3. This is probably a moot point for most people, but the A80J lets you position the legs in 3 different positions and one of them allows room for a soundbar under the TV. I know most people mount their TVs nowadays, but that's not possible for me at the moment. If I went with the LG C1, I would've had to purchase a different TV stand to mount it to my media console.

The brightness is great for watching movies and playing games with my kids. The picture quality is so life-like and the detail of the 4k is great. My video game systems look great on it.
