Great Sony TV and Great Best Buy Experience!

I watched reviews for many TVs focusing on OLEDs. Sony came out on top because the picture looked the best in the price range. I also relied on a Best Buy System Designer (Shawn Parker) who did an absolutely superb job. Easy set up by the Geek Squad-can't beat Best Buy Customer service. Picture quality in 8K is AMAZING! Great for sports, makes DVD movies look exceptional! Worked well with our older Sonos speaker system. I chose the A80J over the much more expensive A90J because there isn't that much difference in picture quality IMHO. I'd definitely buy again, but only with Best Buy. You can't beat their professional team and exceptional customer service.

Throw in a Total Tech Membership and delivery/install and you've got yourself a bonafide WINNER for a beautiful system. My system is the Sony 65" A80J OLED paired with the Sony HTG700 3.1Ch soundbar with wireless subwoofer. It's a phenomenal experience and plays well together. Install team was great. Upon install, we discovered that the soundbar had a broken speaker. Even though it was an open box item, Best Buy replaced the system with a brand new one. The team came back out a week later and replaced it at no charge.

I used to be hardcore LG everything, but I tried this one Sony OLED and I haven't turned back. I still mess with LG on the gaming consoles, but when it comes to movies it's all Sony.

Do not listen to those reviews because with proper adjustment this TV gets so bright it hurts your eyes. I have this TV by a window that’s 10’ x6’ and have very little to no glare. If you are looking for clarity and a life like feel and enjoy watching movies at night this is the TV hands down. And the gaming at 120hz with the PS5 provides the ultimate gaming experience. Don’t let anyone fool you out of purchasing an OLED TV because a TV with a backlight will never come close to comparing to OLED’s

The picture is excellent. My previous TV was a Panasonic plasma, and I was worried that the picture on the Sony wouldn't be as good, but it is even better. I was satisfied with the sound quality, except for the low bass, which in my opinion is important for watching movies. I later bought a Sony soundbar which includes a subwoofer to remedy that. Some of the controls and settings were bewildering, at first, but I am getting used to navigating them. Once I have learned to find the settings I am interested in, all have worked as they should. I can be happy with this TV for quite a while.

Bravia XR OLED 65 inch TV

This one replaced a 55 inch Bravia and does not disappoint. The picture and clarity are great. My wife complained that the picture was not the same on the 55 inch Bravia depending where she sat. Not the case with the Bravia XR OLED. Same picture quality anywhere you sit. I did hook my sound bar and this gives watching anything an excellent experience when combining the two. I was a Samsung owner for probably 20 years until I bought the 55 inch Bravia. Sony is above and beyond the Samsung. Never going back to Samsung. The set up was easy and quick. Highly recommend.

So buying a Sony was a no-brainer. Deciding to upgrade to OLED was a little harder because of the cost. We knew that the picture would be awesome, but the all-screen sound is what actually sold us. It fills the room like surround sound and if we turned it all the way up, the neighbors would probably ask us to leave!
