My favorite TV ever…. Stunning

Just watched Dune on it and it’s a work of art. The sound is respectable on it but when you’ve got this nice of a picture you’ll want a Dolby Atmos soundbar for a more complete experience. I also have a 4 year old LG OLED TV and Sony does a much better job with color. I haven’t had to make any adjustments. Sports look amazing. Upscaling is great. And Google TV is much better than LG’s Web OS and I prefer it to Samsung’s smart functionality (though that’s good too). Only wish I got a 77” but that’s a lot more money.

A Premium High Speed HDMI Cable(s) is fine for general purposes, but if you will connect a video game console that supports 4K 120Hz, use the HDMI cable included with the game console, or an Ultra High Speed HDMI Cable. Amazing Upgrade

I did have to get a DisplayPort to hdmi adapter for my pc to recognize the signal & unlock a higher refresh rate, but that’s more a gpu issue. My last smart tv apps interface was horrible & did not like using. This tv’s apps are not, it works very well & I like using them. You have some quick app buttons on the remote for Netflix etc that are very convenient. So far I would highly recommend this product.

We used Best Buy premium delivery and TV set up, and signed up for the 1 year of tech support. They came when they said, the TV set up was letter perfect, and they helped us move from cable TV, that couldn't handle the needs of the new TV in rural Vermont, to internet TV at a lower monthly fee and perfect reception. If you can paint a letter perfect purchase, this is what it looks like. Thrilled and still have their tech support for a long time to come. Can see some additions TV upgrades in the near future.

I can't compare to the LG OLEDs, but I assume it's on par. I still use my projector in the dark room for immersing myself in movies, but this is great for sports and regular watching, especially in a bright living room. I can't comment on the sound as I use a sound bar. Frankly, why anyone would expect good sound out of TV speakers is beyond me. The only downside is the cost, but hopefully this TV carries me for a long time before the next evolution of viewing comes along.

It fits perfectly. The picture quality is superb. And the sound quality surprisingly good in that the screen is also the speaker. I purchased a new Apple TV for it as well. Dumb me. It is built in so I have not used it on this TV. My only small nit, which is not enough to reduce my rating, is the settings for the HDMI inputs is a bit Byzantine.

Poor accessory communication

I have to keep unplugging the tv, receiver and hdmi cable. And turning things back on per Sony’s website. The other issue is that the WiFi on the Tv turns itself off. The only way I can get it to work again is to do a power reset.happens a couple time a week.
